The experience at Thornton was excellent! Excellent service, mouthwatering food, affordable rates, and a lovely setting! I ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friends' omelet, pancakes, and crepes all were great too. Naturally, our server was quite pleasant and always topped off our water and coffee when it was nearly empty. I would unquestionably recommend this location to anyone in the neighborhood. You can choose to sit inside or outside. Even though we were inside, the front was an open breezeway. The price for the treat is ideal when it's outside of hotel concentrations. Anyone seeking a fantastic breakfast restaurant should check out Thornton's!You won't be let down!

They actually make real breakfast not readymade stuff! We were looking for some good breakfast place where they make real omelette and sandwiches and we loved it here! The server was super friendly and helpful and attentive, got us the coffees etc and help us with the ordering, it’s not very fancy looking place but I love the food and service and prices were very reasonable also! Plenty of seating and the service is very fast! I highly recommend this place if you want good breakfast!!

Food was very tasty. The stuffed French toast with  is amazing. The eggs Benedict  either turkey or salmon was good as well. I just preferred the egg to be . I  wouldn't recommend the clam chowder, which they took off the bill. Great hospitality, thanks to the staff. The only negative I would say, is our waiter  an older gentleman gave me the bill just after we received our food, which was a wait. Granted, the place was busy.  However, I didn't like having the bill put next to my food as my girlfriend and I just began to eat. Otherwise that, I  would recommend.

Thornton's was a wonderful experience!! Delicious food, outstanding service, great prices, and a beautiful setting! I got the Eggs Benedict and my wife got the French Toast with bananas on top. We both loved it! There are options to sit outside or inside. We sat inside but the entire front was an open breezeway. The weather was perfect and it truly felt like it was something out of a movie! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great breakfast spot to try Thornton's! You won't be disappointed!

Came across this place looking for a good brunch spot in Boston and was not disappointed! I got the steak and cheese sandwich and some apple stuffed French toast. Both were incredible and I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the sandwich because I ate it too fast

My favorite breakfast location in Boston. Haven't been in some time and I wasn't disappointed.  In a fantastic location across the street from the Pru, it's easily the one breakfast spot you have to try any time you're in the city.  They have the best home fries and with so many different eggs benedict to choose from among a pretty elaborate menu, you just can't go wrong.  100 percent recommend!

Busy spot for brunch- type fare. Overall, good and I would return. I had the classic eggs Benedict and my partner had the breakfast burrito. Both were good. The spiced potatoes were some of the best home fries I've had in a while.

Been about 10 years since I been here last. Great to see the same people working. That speaks volumes. Great service and excellent quality food.

A warm welcome and a hearty breakfast! My wife ordered the Breakfast Burger, I had the Crazy Twos - which I recommend as the best value on their breakfast menu. Service was warm, welcoming and you could feel that the place is run with a lot of heart. And the food was great. Highly recommend.

Ordered the smoked salmon plate. Just got 4 little pices of salmon on the plate. Asked for more salmon to fill the bagel. 10 minutes later it came when i was finished. They charged 7 dollars for the salmon extra. Also no cucumber on the plate as described in the menu. I paid 34 dollar with coffee. The price is crazy! 1 of 5 stars
