I went in to see if they could fix my necklace and they fixed it right on the spot and also offered to clean my ring. He was pleasant to work with and when it was time to pay he didn't charge me a dime! Excellent customer service and would recommend them to everyone!

Let me start off by saying that I don't write many reviews - only when I'm very impressed with something.  I have had Thorpe & Co. make a couple custom pieces for me.  I can't tell you how happy I am.  Not only are they beautiful, they are truly quality pieces.  Take a look around their showroom.  They only buy stunning pieces that they themselves would want to purchase.  I worked with Joe.  I told him my budget and the look I was going for.  He picked out some pieces that fit my requests and  explained the differences of each.  He knows his stuff for sure- everyone down there does.  I hate high pressure sales.....you have to buy this today to get a deal.  That sort of thing.   This place is NOT like that at all.  Super relaxing friendly environment.  It's a "old school" type of business that puts customer service first.  How often does that happen now?  I already warned my husband that I will be returning there on our 20th anniversary.  Can't wait!!  : )

I grew up in Sioux City and left there when I graduated from high school. My family always used Thorpe's for gifts and I have continued that over the decades because their service is excellent and personal, their quality is tops and they always deliver what they say they will. I order engraved picture frames for weddings and other occasions and Karen is wonderful to work with. She knows what style and layout to use and they ship it directly to the recipient. Everyone loves their beautiful engraved frames. Thanks for being such an excellent go-to source for special personal gifts. Thorpe's also repaired a pearl ring I sent them & they did a beautiful job. Thorpe's is my jeweler & I live in Florida.

Thorpe's is top notch.  They are always friendly and helpful.  Even if you want to just browse.  They are home owned and that means something in this day and age.  You know when you go into the store you are getting years of experience and the people you know and trust will still be there.  If you don't already, you should sign up for the newsletter as well.  Very informative and entertaining.  Thorpe's is definitely a "gem" in Sioux City!
