I'm not a fan of camping. How's that for the start of a review about a camping resort? I have never liked it... before I came here. Granted, the tent sites have running water and electric plugs, so I'm not exactly roughing it in the woods. It's a more milder outdoor adventure which is just fine with me. The entire resort is catered to family and fun. The main center always has something planned, and is themed out for holidays. Every morning you can find yourself a hot cup of coffee, if you're into that sort of thing. They have a large volleyball pool, miniature golf, a playground, basketball court, gym, tennis courts, and paddle boat rentals to sail off into the sunset on Lake Conroe. If you're a fan of camping out and breathing fresh air, this is your spot. If you don't like camping, but aren't afraid to give it another shot, this is also your spot.

Been here many times in the past few years. Great for families and the rangers are good to everyone. We've gone to several events and enjoy our time walking,ridding the golf cart and playing at the playground with the kids. Everyone is super friendly, poeple come from all over to stay at this rv resort. They have done updates all around the grounds,cabins are nice and clubhouse is great for activities. Hope to enjoy for many more years.

Very peaceful here and people are great ! Staff is friendly and helpful .Rv spaces are nice size and the fishing is great nice size catfish bring your pole .Bring campfire wood and family enjoy the park .

Great park looking forward to coming back in the fall. Staff was very friendly and professional. Amenities are awesome. Only downside was the sites could use some leveling and better gravel, roads were poor to average. Not so much the parks fault but some of the kids needed a little more supervision, not bad just camp kids being kids. Tons to do without leaving the park, start at the lake, hit the beach, head to the pool, mini golf you get the idea. Lots of planned activities as well especially on the weekends. Thanks for a great stay

Thousand Trails at Lake Conroe is one of our favorite TT campgrounds. It's easy to get to, close to grocery & gas, has all the amenities we love like clean bathouses, an on-site gym, perfectly kept pool, playground, and great staff. We'll be coming here for many years to come.
