Unlike other Thousand Trails resorts where the staff is usually very kind and welcoming, do not expect a kind welcome here, even if you are an evacuee from the Northern California fires. Instead, expect to be discriminated against if your custom–designed RV dares to have anything like solar panels or a composting toilet. The manager of this campground is an unhappy person, and she prefers to share that misery with newcomers while the rest of her staff silently mouths "I'm sorry" in the background . People who discriminate do so out of ignorance and meanness. All we can do is pray for their souls and hope they eventually grow out of it. In the meantime, I advise all good-hearted travelers to go somewhere else.

There's no signal , no sewer, free Wi-Fi at the lodge only.

Quiet, pleasant, friendly, w/ a nice location. No full hook-ups. A muddy-sloggy mess in the winter demanding the removal of shoes every time you get in your rig. Yearly promises from management to repave/re-gravel. Never happens. Run-down but usable facilities (no frills). Good cell-phone coverage in the park (Verizon & AT&T). Short drive to great places (Food/wine/gas/US-101). Good, not great. Bring extra shoes, mats, brooms, & double check to make sure you haven't parked in a premium site. Bummer to find out after the fact. They WILL charge you for your mistake even if all other sites are ankle deep in mud & water.

It's really quite tranquil here. And all over, a fairly decent way of life for your dollar. Once you get past all the BS, rules (as they seem to change daily) to fit any particular needs for the hour. And drama, (because there always is)...I really don't mind it here at all! 😉
