This is our 1st Thousand Trails park and we are very impressed so far. Large sites both treed & open, peaceful, adults only areas, & beautiful Lake Texoma. Lots of events and activities planned for the weekends. Good AT&T signal & all network television stations come through clearly.

Better than some. Again roads need work. But very nice shade trees all around. We got full hook ups and right beside the restrooms. Only complaint was the adult pool stayed tied up with volleyball. And the language from the people playing left something to be desired. So we used the family pool. Also no grills and our meals were planned around a grill.

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. RUDEST employees I have ever met! My family stayed the weekend because we love lake Texoma and had heard wonderful things about Thousand Trails. They were wrong. Our first night there (Friday) The electricity went out and was off for almost 5 hours, no big deal, we kept our food in the coolers and went to the pool. Loved the adult pool, however, the people that make this place their home and keep RV's there almost year round think they can tell you what to do. They were as rude as the employees and my husband and I went to the family pool where people were much nicer and we had a great time. All of that aside, the worst part of the experience was dealing with their so called Park Rangers. When we first arrived we noticed a large stump in the driveway area that was covered by high grass making it hard to see. My husband was concerned that backing his truck into such a small spot would be an issue with the stump in the way. He was correct, he backed in and the stump punctured his gas tank. When we went to tell the front office about this issue and let them know there was gas all over our driveway area the employee on duty smacked my husband in the forehead for hitting the stump and told us we needed to "drive more responsibly." First of all you're lucky I'm not suing you for what ended up being a $600 replacement, second of all who the hell do you think you are laying your hands on ANYONE, and lastly why in the HELL wasn't the stump completely removed or at least uncovered so it was easily visible! We were so livid we left Saturday morning (we were supposed to stay until Monday) and I hounded the park manager until she refunded all of our money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Go to Big Mineral or Cedar Mills. Much nicer!!
