I've been taking my dogs to 3 Rivers for 10+ years.  They have been wonderful!  My older lab had epilepsy and the folks at 3 Rivers were able to keep him off drugs and control his seizures.  He lived a long happy life until he developed cancer at 11, at which point the staff at 3 Rivers came to my house and put him down, gently in his own backyard.  I'm forever grateful for the way he was treated, he truly loved them and felt comfortable at the office.  My other dogs love the office, too, as it is more of a home type environment then a clinical lab.

I've been taking my kitties there for the last year and every time it was a great experience. The place is very relaxing, the staff is friendly. The treatment Dr Johanson has recommended was very helpful

I have a very, very sick dog who is managing to live and 'thrive' in the last stages of heart failure for almost 3 years now. I came to Three Rivers looking for acupuncture and that didn't pan out as my dog who is super tiny wasn't feeling the needles and the Dr respected that. What I did walk away with was a new herbal regimen which complimented the current Eastern/Western combo she was already on. I did not feel rushed or judged and I felt everything was explained as well as could be. I firmly believe combining regular meds with holistic meds does indeed extend a sick dogs life. This is a gem of a spot especially for those who are looking for alternatives that work.

I do not recommend this clinic at all. The professionals don't have experience enough to treat dogs. Dr. Johanson denied to do acupuncture on my dog because she stated that my dog is too nervous, but he is a French bulldog!!! but Dr. Johanson does not have the skills to deal with animals and not even with clients. Even after my husband insisted several times by saying that he could handle him for the acupuncture, she refused to treat him. That shows that she is not well prepared to manage all kind of dogs. That is why they call itself as Holistic!!!! Very disappointing.

I have been taking my 18 year old Maltese to 3 Rivers for years.  They are AWESOME!!!  From the moment we walked into their office, I knew we were in good hands.  Dr. J, Kim and Ildi have gone above and beyond in caring for my "fur-kid".  I highly recommend not only a holistic approach to your pet's health, but this vet practice in particular.  I owe them so much more than mere words on a google review.  Dr. J, Kim and Ildi thank you for all that you do for us.  You three are Artie's angels on Earth.  For anyone reading this review, it comes from the heart and I highly recommend Three Rivers.  Geralyn, Chatham NJ
