Westfield Animal Hospital is one of the best I have ever seen.  The doctors are top of the line who know their business.  The techs and receptionists are caring, sensitive, and just nice folks.  This is a stellar veterinary practice with doctors who go the extra mile to treat your pets.  There  is never a rush to get in and out--the doctors take their time and explain everything--they make recommendations and guide and counsel the clients who can then make informed decisions about care and treatment.  Whether it is a routine visit or a case which might take weeks or months of treatment, the doctors and staff are always the same, caring, sensitive, thorough, kind, and most knowledgeable.  Unless i needed a specialty vet, i would not go anywhere else but to this practice.  Mary Anne Lozak

Pet care doesn't get any better than this. The entire staff from front desk to back of house are dedicated, professional and pleasant. All of the vets are easy to work with. I feel like it's a collaborative relationship between us and them. More important, our cats like them too. 

The only thing I'd like to see changed is to have more separation of dogs and cats. Some dog owners forget most cats don't deal with dogs too well and are not properly controlled in the waiting area even though on leash. A curious dog poking it's head into a carrier can be extremely unnerving to some felines. Same for boarding facilities; the cat & dog boarding areas are separate from each other, but as we saw, occasionally dogs which have issues with other dogs, are boarded in the cat room. Not ideal.

FYI, this practice should not be confused with a different vet with nearly the same name nearby. It seems most of the poor reviews mention doctor names not affiliated with this practice.

Westfield Animal Hospital is the best. Found out about them when I adopted a cat through an organization they work with. Westfield Animal Hospital really does put you and your pet first, and don't overcharge you. They also have weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday which is really helpful! Switched from a different Vet's office and I am very happy with the decision.

Our kitty Iris had her first vet appointment today here.  It was the first time we've ever brought a live animal there.  Before that, we'd shown up with dog rescues and a deceased kitty we found on the road (they cremated for free and were so sweet).  Dr. Heller was amazing in helping diagnosis Iris's problem and she really took her time with us (and Iris). We adore everyone there.

Dr. Newman has seen my 17-year-old daschound for the second time in the last three months for a skin condition. She is so kind & helpful, explaining things so we can understand them. She also offers options & let us know how much things would cost instead if just running up the bill as some places do. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly reccomend this facility.
