Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home is family owned and operated and has been serving the community since the 1880’s. With 2 locations to better serve you, we are located on West Main St. and Branch Ave. in Anoka, and our second funeral home is on Bunker lake Blvd and Jay St. NW. in Andover. We have a caring staff who are available 24 hours a day to help serve you and your loved ones.

My Grandparents, Aunt, and Father have all been taken care of so well in their final goodbyes here--most recently Cary has been so supportive and caring in the loss of my Father. you can know and trust that you and your loved ones will be in good hands. Will always recommend them first!
Thurston was the best possible choice for services for our beloved mother/mother-in-law/grandmother. The entire staff was friendly and super-helpful. Cary, who handled our arrangements and the entire event, was knowledgeable and respectful, and took care of every detail, including things we hadn't even thought about. He was available at every turn in the road. We highly recommend Thurston-Lindberg-Deshaw Funeral Home.
Thoughtful, caring, trustworthy service at a time our family needed it the most. Cary was a port in the storm, providing everything from gentle suggestions, to covering every single detail, even down to the forgotten necktie before the service. We are grateful to him for making an impossibly sad time bearable.
My mother died of COVID-19 and was a long-time resident of Anoka. Kiel was compassionate, professional, and respectful and did a wonderful job in preparing her for viewing and the graveside service. He had the extra challenge of working with a family member who was unable to travel, and still he did everything so gracefully. My mother looked absolutely beautiful. Thurston-Lindberg and now Deshaw has a long and proud history in our community and I'm glad to see it's still providing outstanding, caring service. Thank you so much.
