Well I thought I was receiving good care until shady business practices happened to me today and bad customer service. I was going in for a regular cleaning and got blind sided and was told I needed a deep scaling done and not a regular cleaning.  No one told me I needed this done. Something of this importance someone should have told me. Glad to know what kind of business this as I will be taking my family elsewhere now.

I love Tidewater Dental! All of the staff are always so welcoming, professional, and polite every single time me and my son go in for an appointment! I always hated going to the dentist before Tidewater but now it’s ALWAYS a pleasant experience!

Tidewater Dental is a wonderful place .  We’ve been patients since 2003. The dental staff are always professional & kind. The front office staff are very professional & efficient, too. I really appreciate the promptness of appointments. It is reassuring how clearly the billing and payment options are explained, as well. My favorite hygienist is Amy. She’s very engaging & professional. The Dentist are truly interested in your Dental Care. They are engaging, polite & responsive to your concerns. Definitely recommend Tidewater Dental in Lexington Park!

Following a few normal visits and my wife never having issues I've had a lone bad experience. After having a root canal I showed up for final filling. They started to want to numb me until I explained why I was there and that after a root canal it wouldn't matter. After filling in the tooth they ground down the filling and polished then did the normal tap tests. I commented that front teeth were hitting first and so the dentist ground down the two molars in front of the new filling, one of which I commented was sensitive. I figured out later it was sensitive to being ground down since it didn't have any existing filling and I wasn't numb. This also didn't fix the issue because it was the canines hitting first. After a few days I requested a follow up, they got me in next day, explained the procedure from last time and fixed the filling.
