A great place for some drinks and food and and even better place if you love live music.  They have a few amazing regular bands that play on the weekends but also get the best local musicians in playing all sorts of music, country, rock, pop, top 40.  Happy hour is one of the cheapest in The Gaslamp ($4.50 32oz beers anyone).  The staff are really cool and there is always a great atmosphere 10/10 would recommend

This place has the potential to be amazing but I don't know I'm still on the fence about it. 
First time here was last night for the McGregor vs Mayweather fight. So they charged us 25 dollars just to get inside. Not to sit down just to go inside. And to get a table it would have been 37 dollars per person and you needed at least 6 people. And then on top of that the tables had a 300 dollar drinking limit. All of this just to watch a fight that they only paid 99 dollars for. Seems insane right. 
On other news all of the tables were damn near reserved. Okay that's fine. They had 3 bars. But decided to only have 2 of them working. 1 upstairs and 1 down stairs. And they only had a handful of people working like everything was done so ass backwards it wasn't even funny. We never had a server even come over to us to see if we needed drinks or food. So who knows if the food is good or not. Service is terrible I can say that though. 
I would say give this place a shot when nothing major is going on and they might be okay.

The food was delicious. I had the brisket and it was tender and juicy. The fried pickles were a little salty though. Even though we were here during Comic con the service was top knotch. The live music was great and watching the men play giant Jenga was a blast.

Excellent beer specials. The live music was very fun. One of my favorite downtown San Diego spots.
