Toad's place is pretty old school - it's been there forever.  The parking isn't the best depending on night and the acoustics aren't the greatest in the world but hey, some pretty awesome bands still come through here of all types of genres.  When the band has their own sound guy you can really tell the difference from a local opener. I recommend this place still...it is one of my favorite music venues in Connecticut by far and it has a cool pizza spot next door.  Go check it out if you haven't : )

Great place, nice staff, but a little mad that the singer (jimmorrison) for riders on the storm was so comepletely wasted, they had to cut the set short.

Pros: Large variety of artists, more famous ones in the past, but they still get some good artists. This is a yeehaw.
Cons: This place is a toilet.
