District 3 of the Toledo City Council generally encompasses "East Toledo" and "Old South End" and is presently represented by Councilman Peter S. Ujvagi.

The Toledo District 3 Facebook page was created to provide a place where you can learn about the City of Toledo, get information on City Council news, ask questions and engage in a discussion with your district representative. Your questions, opinions and comments are welcome. However, we also wish to keep this a civil discussion. Posts that are obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable will be removed from this page [Please see 47 USC 230(c)].
Please also note two other points:

1) Remember that this is a public forum, and others will be able to see your comments. If you would like to speak to your council member or have an issue not appropriate for this page, please call the City Council office at 419-245-1050 or email Councilman Ujvagi at [email protected]

2) Elected officials in the State of Ohio must abide by what are commonly known as the Sunshine Laws for keeping public records (to learn more: http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/legal/sunshine-laws).

Even though the courts are still debating where social networking falls within traditional laws, Ohio law [ORC 149.011] says that a “record” includes “any document, device, or item, regardless of physical form or characteristic, including an electronic record as defined in section 1306.01 of the Revised Code, created or received by or coming under the jurisdiction of any public office of the state or its political subdivisions, which serves to document the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, operations, or other activities of the office.” Any comment, or post on this page that falls within that definition will be kept as a public record.
