Best place for breakfast and friendly service. We were passing through from Makers Mark and decided to stop here for brunch. At first I was ready to leave, but the waitress was very kind, and the food was excellent and freshly prepared. I recommend the steak and eggs.

First off, this is NOT barbeque. There's only one item on the entire menu that said barbeque and it was the "barbeque sandwich." Do not let the name fool you. We came here expecting actual bbq and left deeply disappointed. 
Secondly, there are signs in the restaurant advertising their "homemade food" when everything is quite literally instant or straight from a can. I had a burger that was just a couple of soyburger patties slapped on a bun. My husband and I agreed that the food tastes like school cafeteria food. My husband ate the buffet and it was chicken heated from the freezer, instant mashed potatoes and canned green beans. Not to mention the portion sizes are small. We will not be returning, and unless you like school food, I do not recommend eating here.

We ate here twice during a Bourbon Trail bachelor party weekend.  Short order one morning, breakfast buffet the second.  Our waitress, Becky, had to put up with nine guys having too much fun.  When we asked for a Tom Pig's souvenir for our friend who is getting married, one of the other waitresses literally gave him the shirt off of her back.  If you like an authentic American diner experience, get the whole-slice country ham breakfast platter.  Health food it isn't, but good for the soul.
