Pastas are delicious. By the slice pizza is very mediocre, doesn't reheat well. I've tried three kinds and all were disappointing. I haven't ordered a whole pie from here yet. The Strombolis and garlic knots are great. Service is pretty slow.

We love tomato pie! I've ordered pizza from here for big groups, dine-in with the family, and take out and everything i order from this pizza joint consistently tastes great and fresh. Everything from the sauce, the crust, the cheese, the meats are good quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I can't go back to big chain pizza after discovering Tomato Pie. My usual family order is a large pepperoni, garlic knots, and 2 meatballs. Love this place.

Tomato Pie is a refreshingly tasty NY-style pizza joint. Great slices and cheap prices. I keep coming back and back.

Not the greatest but ehhh... Could be better UPDATE. 8-22-17 This time around it was very good. I guess they read some of their reviews And from being a 4 on the scale of taste, they definitely have jumped up to a 7.5. quality of ingredients are better now and you can actually taste every single ingredient. GOOD JOB GUYS! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

So an adult male was masturbating at a table while the restaurant was full of families with young children. I can't blame the restaurant for that but I can blame the small-stature female employee of the restaurant who decided to act as an advocate for the pervert and argue with the police when they came to arrest the scum bag. Normally I would ignore a millennial acting silly but the safety of the women and children at the restaurant comes before feelings. (Looked like an undercover cop caught the guy in the act and got video.) Probably not a smart business practice to take the side of sexual predators over women and children. This is a good opportunity for the corporate office to do training for managers at the South Pasadena location. To verify the veracity of my claim contact the So Pasadena police who arrested the pervert. #protectkids #thanksSoPasPD
