We moved here 3 years ago and were looking for a way for my daughter to make friends so we joined the Y. My daughter tried a few sports and then she discovered gymnastics and that was it. She has grown-up with these coaches and they have been the most caring and motivating coaches she has ever had in any sport that she has played. They treat her as family. She has made some of her best friends here and has developed into a motivated and accomplished little girl. She looks forward to practice and the challenges that her coaches give her. She loves traveling to meets with her fellow gymnasts and celebrating wins and leaning on them when she needs a push! I have enjoyed the family that Top Flight has created for us as it is our home away from home!

My daughter has been with the YMCA for numerous years and has been helped in ways of building her confidence and meeting new friends. I do feel that the gym is a family but the parents must be active and participate to make any gymnastic experience a success. Coach Gabby has done a great job with building what was a very small team to today. Yes we have had coaching challenges as the same as any gym. I feel that coach gabby truly cares about all the girls and wants them to succeed. We are still a young team and have experienced many growing pains and challenges but all hearts are in a good place and we will be successful.

Top Fligt is a gym that doesn't have all the aspects of an ideal gym. Team is mostly where problems occurred. For optionals there was good coaches(two). Sadly for excel there was few coaches that were nice but they weren't the best coaches. Mainly the excel coaches weren't the best because they did not have prior coaching experience, some were also never gymnast(they did try their best). Besides lacking a skill in coaching there were other things that are slowly bringing this gym down. For a example there is a lack of that family feeling which is very important in a place where you workout a lot. If your wondering why I say lack its because there are groups that act better than every one else and there is favoritism shown in coaches. By favoritism I mean that there were certain gymnast treated better than other gymnasts. My last complaint is that this gym is very unorganized for a example there would be classes cancelled and not everyone would be informed. For a counter claim the classes(younger levels)that aren't team are fun and good.

My daughter started the gymnastics program after trying a dance program with another local camp. After one class I knew the dance program was all wrong. Then I heard about the YMCA Gymnastics program. My husband was ill so we qualified for Financial Assistance. My daughter had great coaches..........starting from younger coaches when she younger to more experienced coaches as she progressed. Let me explain she is painfully shy. She won't order food at a restaurant or even a drive thru. However.......with GREAT coaching my daughter has learned confidence. She went from not being able to do a cartwheel to a Level 10 in 6 years. Their goal is to elevate children while instilling confidence. This IS our home. Great Coaches.......Gabbi, Tyler, Emily, Kyler, etc. You took this shy child and made her brave and strong.
