Generous servings with authentic seasonings. Warm corn chips before dinner...beware you don't get full before your meal comes as their salsa is addictive. Ask your server for hot salsa if you prefer, because you can have both. #3 comes with beans & rice with 2 beef tacos and a cheese enchilada. Lunch 11-4pm and only $12. It's my go-to place in the West valley area. I love it when a wingz ride takes me to this part of town. bit.ly/DiscoverWingz

Grilled chicken breast tasted like fake chicken... I would have let the waitress know but she didn't ask. The salsa was good once I added half a bowl of hot sauce to it. The rest, including the waitress was good. I'll try it one more time but only because I tried a bite of the green chili pork and that was delicious....

Awesome staff! Food is pretty good too. Looks like it might be a fun bar area as well. I must check it out sometime. Changing my review. Sat outside for over 30 min nothing. No service at all. Now I watch them close as I sit in the dinning area waiting still not even a hello or drink nothing. Sad they don't care and are more interested in where the party is after close than patrons.

Very good food and drink but the place is so hot and I was sweating bullets the whole time. This has been going on for many months. When I talked to manager she said they need an overhaul of the whole air system. Walls are also dirty next to tables with food specks glued on. I would give 5 stars just for the food and great staff mostly. I had been going for over 7 yrs. I will be staying away until everything is resolved.

We've eaten at Top Shelf many times and always been happy with our meal and the service, even enough to bring out-of-town visiting family with us. That was then. This is now. Recently, on a week-day at lunch time. This occasion was a catch-up lunch with a friend, so we knew we would be staying a bit. The dining room was dimly lit in a rose colored light which made reading the menus harder. The food was good, but the service was so bad that I question if I even wish to return. When we ordered, we asked for separate checks. The waitress agreed. She made many other small errors while serving, and seemed very distracted, almost like she had forgotten us. The restaurant was not crowded and she admitted to not being short-staffed, so there was no excuse for such lax service. When we asked to see the menu so we could decide on dessert, we sat for quite a long time before she remembered that we have even asked. Her name was Angelita. When the check did arrive, it was all together. The point was not that we could not have handled this, but that it was not as we asked. I made a point to bypass her and pay at the hostess desk in the front to avoid any more awkwardness, but she followed us there and made this into a bigger to-do than was needed. We were embarrassed by her stepping all over herself because of our dissatisfaction, and that made it all the more uncomfortable. I liked Top Shelf. I am sorry to have had my special lunch ruined.
