I purchased over $200 worth of sale items and was treated so nicely by the sales woman who rang me up (probably because I was purchasing so much). The manager that was on shift was a little rude, didn't smile, never saw her teeth. She was annoying but I didn't pay it any mind because I was taking home all these new clothes that I was excited about. Everything was fine, but when I tried on one of the pairs of boots when I got home, they didn't fit. I drove back to return them (and I have been shopping at Torrid for MANY MANY years now. I typically shop there when they have a sale, because their clothes are too expensive to purchase outright.... never have I ever had a problem with getting my money back) and the manager (the same rude one from my initial purchase) told me I couldn't get my money back at all. She was rude. She was very short with me. She didn't give me eye connection and she had an unbelievably stank attitude. I told her I had NEVER had an issue bringing sale items back, she shrugged and said she didn't do that at her location, so I could either swap it out or that was it. I said no, I want my money back, she said sorry no. I was like OK, then give me store credit. She then proceeded to look around, weigh her options of being more of a rude person or just showing a hint of compassion. Took her a solid 35 seconds to be like "OK, I guess, but don't expect this treatment again." I was disgusted. I spend so much money at Torrid - more than one woman should spend anywhere. I will NEVER EVER go back to that Torrid again. Meanwhile, in Philly, I took another sale boot back with NO hesitation and NO stank attitude. I cannot believe her high-throne attitude. On top of that she wasn't plus size, so she had this "I'm better than all of you" persona. Ugh. Disgusting.

I have purchased clothing in store always with no problem , high quality and great service. Today I had a coupon code that would not take online even though I had just received it. It took a bit of time, but Becca from your SoCal distribution and call center took her time helping me to get the coupon code to work. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and made sure that I was happy with the items. I am thankful for her help, without it I wouldn't have ordered. So THANK YOU to Becca for being wonderful! Thanks Torrid for great customer service both in store and by phone.

I shopped at Torrid for the first time the other day. Now I won't shop anywhere else! Exactly my style! The staff is very nice and helpful. They are very involved when you want them to be and they will leave you be to shop when you need it too. Perfect service!
