I'm in and out of this store often. An old school goth, turned CorpGoth turned artist, this store offers a blend of different styles that appeal to me. I have always gotten great service from the staff, and never had a problem with multiple returns or website orders. This particular store also has the largest clearance section I've ever seen in a Torrid, which is an awesome bonus.

Let me tell you something I'm a Torrid girl all the way I buy something from the store almost every week or I'm picking up a package from the store. I've been to many torrid stores and received OK customer service but when they opened up the bowie location I was overjoyed because it was closer. Every time I go in there I'm greeted from the whole staff never had a problem out of none of them. I'm very big on customer service because I'm a business owner and I believe in giving my clients the best service ever. I have developed a relationship with the ladies in there so much I call one of the managers my BFF because she always helps me out there, I hold more conversations with them than shopping. Working in retail is not easy because you never know what type of customer you'll get. I write this review because I give credit where credit is needed. Thank you ladies of Torrid! Smooches

Store inventory should been done during the hours when the store is closed. I called to find out what time they'd open their doors and was told by the rude associate she didn't know between 12 and 1 but store hours on Sunday are 10. This is not the first time this has happened and I'm getting turned off by this store

Don't bother wasting your time here. My first experience inside this store was ridiculous. I walk in with no greeting and honestly couldn't tell the difference between the staff and the customers. I browsed around looking at all the different clothes, dresses, bathing suits and shoes (which I didn't even get a chance to ask for my size in shoes due to no help.) Found many items I was interested in and had gathered several hundred dollars worth of clothing to try on to see what my true fit is for this line. Nobody asked me if I needed help with anything. Nobody asked if I needed a fitting room. When I was finally able to locate someone after several minutes of walking around the store with this mass amount of clothing in my arms to have a dressing room unlocked for me, the employee huffed about and told me they were already closed and that for future reference to remember that. I explained that I had been walking around for several minutes with all my items for purchase waiting for someone to open a dressing room for me. She explained to me that she knows but that they need to be shutting everything down at some point. She opened the dressing room for me and at that point I felt rushed and it was useless to take my time and try on everything to see whether or not everything will fit. I left everything in the dressing room ( without trying on a single garment) and decided not to waste a single cent in this store due to the rude unprofessional staff. Sad to know that they prefer to be rude to customers who are willing to spend several hundred dollars worth on a shopping spree in their own store. I was lead to believe she was a manager the way she spoke to the staff and if that's so, that is a sad excuse for a leader. Saying that, Torrid has most certainly lost my business and I will not waste my time in another one of their stores if these are the types of people they employ.

Was there yesterday 6/24/16...Staff isn't that great. I like the idea of having a Torrid near by but they need better staff...more welcoming and willinging to help you find items....Not being helpful will keep people not coming. Bad rating for the service but like the items.
