Service was extremely slow. 7.5 hours for a brake job, replace 1 tire and patch 2. That may sound like a lot but the tires had to come off of the car to do the brakes so that couldn’t be an issue for the amount of time taken.

I dropped my car off for brake service and then tire repairs around 8:30 a.m. By 11:40 I had not heard anything so I called for a status. The lady I spoke with was most pleasant to speak with. No complaints about her. She did some research on parts etc. and called me back at 12:20. We discussed several options of repair, and again she was very helpful and easy to talk to. By 12:30 I decided on what I wanted or could do at the time and gave the O.K. to do the work. Around $800 of repair. By 3:20, again I still did not hear anything so I called for status. The same lady sent a request to the technician to get a update.
As I am writing this, it is now 4:00, 7.5 hours later and I just got an answer my car is ready.

Toyota of Slidell is open from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
If the rate of repair is around 8+ hours per car, I can not see how they service too many cars in a day. Maybe 1 per mechanic / technician per day.
I understand different repairs take different amounts of time. Mine are pretty routine repairs. Nothing unusual.

I wonder if the 3 ladies and one gentleman who were in the waiting room when I left are still there?

I like the convenience of dropping off my vehicle after hours and picking it up the next day. My car was cleaned inside and out which was a pleasant surprise. The employees were very courteous and answered all my questions. Thumbs up!

Awesome team here! Ray, our salesman, went above and beyond to make sure I drove off with a 2014 beautiful blue ribbon metallic Tundra! I have really sorry credit, but the guys at Toyota of Slidell made it happen and stayed 3 hrs past close! Great customer service, thanks again guys! I will definitely send family and friends!!

My husband, John recently had his vehicle in for a major service job, and he is very satisfied, thus far, with the performance of the vehicle after getting it back!  The Service Manager, Jeff, was very professional and customer oriented!  He explained every detail that was necessary to my husband.  Yesterday, January 3, I had my vehicle serviced, and I was very satisfied with the service.  Jeff was also my service manager, and thus far, I am really pleased with Jeff's thoroughness and customer oriented skills.  I had been using one particular service manager for years, and he left Toyota, and I was devastated.  For me, since I have been a customer of Toyota/Slidell for 19 years, I felt at the time, I was going to a different dealership; however, I decided to choose Jeff as the service manager, and for the two times that I have had my car serviced since choosing Jeff, I have been really satisfied!  He understood my frustration of losing someone who I was so use to dealing with, and he is really "stepping up to the plate" and providing excellent service!  For that, I am so grateful!
