Story

In the early 1950s, Tucson was a sleepy desert community of approximately 45,000 people.

Around this time, this conglomeration of buildings developed into a western-themed commercial complex known as Trail Dust Town. Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse quickly gained popularity and became the anchor of this complex. Today, Pinnacle Peak and Trail Dust Town are rich with their own history, and people come from all over the world to experience the old west at these centerpieces of Tucson.

Don't miss a wild west stunt show by the Pinnacle Peak Pistoleros! Showing Wednesday through Sunday at 7 and 8 PM, the shows are full of lots of high-falls, low-falls, gunfights, fistfights, explosions, and family friendly slapstick comedy! We always have a great time here! This time around we had someone that goes by the name "Desperado"....BEST SERVICE EVER! She is a genuinely fabulous person! We really enjoyed her! She was so thoughtful and brought out oranges slices for our toddler that really wasn't eating much and she sure did finish those! Desperado is also the daughter of a retired employee that worked there as well! She obviously learned from the best! You can definitely tell she is great at her job because she loves what she does! ...also, we encountered the Magician, I'm sorry I didn't catch his name, but so very enjoyable as well...and HILARIOUS! Thank you for always being so welcoming! People do notice!

Pinnacle peak has the best mesquite grilled steaks. Shops all around to walk thru after a filling meal. Stop at the magic shop for a great show. consider an 1800 style photo. Watch the shoot out. Great family fun

I love this place. I am a Tucson native and Trail Dust Town is a little gem in my fair city. There are old west gunfights, a carnival for kids, and little trinket shops. Something to keep you occupied while waiting for a seat at Pinnacle Peak steakhouse - one of the best no-nonsense open-pit steaks you can get in the southwest. Wear a tie and they'll cut it off and tag you as a duded-up offender. Great place for a visit!

I love this place! Great fun for all ages! My kids especially like the stunt shows. They change regularly too. So don't mistake it for a one and done attraction. I also highly recommend stopping into the magic shop. They have tricks available for all ages, and they'll perform some magic for kids and kids at heart any time.

It's a great one stop shop for everyone. What doesn't this place have to offer..... Here you can get succulent steaks and chicken, cowgirl & cowboy style! Along with great entertainment for the whole family at the same time! The Pinnacle Peak pistolero gunfight shows are something special... From amusement rides to gift shops and lunch & dinner restaraunts, you can spend most of your day or night having fun here. The train ride is wonderful for both kids and adults. This place is definitely recommended as a Tucson must! Come one, come all to Trail Dust Town for a special western experience that's in town.
