This place is equivalent to a bottom end chain like Roadway Inn or Best Value. Bed was mushy, outside run down, had to park bikes outside, tiny old TV. "Breakfast" was a basket of packaged muffins, grocery store cheese, cheap yogurt, granola bars and fruit delivered the night before. This room is worth $50 per night and would have garnered 4 stars if that was what they had charged. But they charge $100. My advice is to go elsewhere. The Frostburg Motel is just as good and much cheaper, and it is closer to restaurants and bars.

Great service by John and his wife. The Broaster chicken is delicious. Very friendly.

This is definitely NOT a bed and breakfast, but charges bed and breakfast prices. It is an old hotel that is need of updating. It is not near Cumberland which is essential if you are riding the GAP or the C&O trail. Its in Frostburg. The hotel room is basic and the sheets were clean. There was a pick up truck parked right outside our bedroom window, with someone inside for most of the night. The breakfast was a basket of packaged muffins, granola bars, apples, and two yogurts and styrofoam cups with oj in the fridge. Only people contact was a phone call asking if we arrived.

Really cool unique place. The camping area is up a really steep ramp that seems not worth the climb but above it is the best view of the valley and Inn below. A nice trail leads to the main trail with many abstract sculptures lining the switchbacks.

This is a review for the campsite rather than the B&B. The campsite was nice -- well worth the $15 if you are also in need of a good shower (or two) and a cleaning of your clothing -- which I was! Only downside is you have to ascend a large switchback ramp to get up there. If you're a touring cyclist used to the flat GAP and C&O trails, this might test your strength at the end of the riding day! I enjoyed my stay here and met a few other really nice people too. Adjoining restaurant was merely OK.
