I am not one to leave reviews, but we had the absolute best experience here today. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable. The waffles are by far the best dessert I’ve ever had!!!! You can smell them by the street! Not even surprised at the reviews on this place. Top notch. Adorable decor, clean, fantastic service. Will be back!!

This tucked away dessert oasis was a great treat after dinner in Shadyside. The owner was very gracious and clearly loves his craft. The ice cream is so decadent and flavors are on point. Last but not least, those waffles…. Fluffy and crispy with some burnt sugar on the edges. Had us drooling. Go get ‘em

After a long day at the hospital walking over for ice cream on Shadyside. Owner is from Bruges, Belgium. You can get to taste the different flavors of ice cream before order. I tasted two 1. Pittsburgh Pride 2. Bailey Irish Creme. I decided on Bailey Irish Creme. $6.50 for Waffles +1 scoop great price. Watching him making Waffles from scratch and it smells delicious. Perfect time to spend with friends. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back.

Yes you need ice cream tonight. Yes you need it from here. Yes the waffles really round out the whole experience. This place is owned by an amazing retired couple and the husband has brought his homeland to Shadyside in the form of Belgium waffles made fresh while you wait, cuts them into bitesized pieces and tops it with ice cream. The big bonus, they will let you try as many as you want before settling on a flavor or two.  Calories most likely do not count here so go crazy.

Very delicious liege waffle. I have never met a waffle like this delicious! The smell of it is incredible! Ice cream is also delicious. I take coconut rum; next time, I would try cannoli.

Amazing waffles and the ice cream is just as good! My girlfriend absolutely loves the waffles and we will be back many times. The owners are incredibly friendly and personable, one of the best experiences I've ever had in Pittsburgh!

Ahh what can i say about this place?! I came here with my husband during our first visit to Pittsburgh and we were so lucky. Its been days and we still wouldn’t stop talking about it and telling our family and friends about it. The waffle here is so special,light and fluffy yet crispy outside. They have various ice cream flavours and all of them are unique, they are not too sugary or sweet, which is something I prefer. I picked the sage and blueberry ice cream, my husband picked Pittsburgh pride and the strawberry one.. all perfect, and we enjoyed every bite..I would recommend this place to everyone.

the BEST icecream in Pittsburgh. the Pittsburgh Pride is my favorite flavor and the staff are always as sweet as the treats.
