City is getting smaller, however this transit center is good with new facility and abundant transit tools.

It serves my needs, well. It has train service to many places along the East Coast including NJ Transit, SEPTA and Amtrak. I find the station to be generally clean. The bathrooms could be worse. They are regularly cleaned and there are also restrooms in the back of the train station that some people don’t know about. There’s a stand for small food items. There’s a Dunkin’ Donuts and magazine area. This Dunkin’ doesn’t take coupons and basically doesn’t honor much in your DD app. There’s a stand for cigarettes and incidentals. It’s expensive, of course. Cigarettes are $11. There’s a good pizza place at the back of the train station, but don’t expect to loiter there unless you are ordering something. There are 2 banks. PNC and Wells Fargo. There’s a phone charging station but it doesn’t always work. In that case, go downstairs at Tracks 1& 2 to the enclosed seating area. There’s a working outlet, there. If need be, NJ Transit operates a WiFi service called Optimum. About the first 5 times, you can use it free. After that, they want $4.99 for a day pass. As far as the Homeless are concerned that speed time around the station. It’s a Social event. After leaving the shelter for the day, they meet for some coffee. Everyone knows public places are a sanctuary of safety for some homeless people. Sadly, I noticed that the people who come into Trenton to work, are least likely to give a dollar to a Homeless person. Sometimes it’s one Homeless person helping another. If you hear someone yelling, “Loosies,” they are selling cigarettes loose at 50 cents each. Announcements for the trains are clear and there are boards showing the trains and tracks. Most of all, remember to “Please stand back from the yellow line and watch the gap while boarding the train.”

Nothing special. Your average train station. Not super filthy and trashy but not super fancy either. I've never had a real bad time here or anything. Super normal place.

Could be better, bathrooms are old and in disarray. Homeless, drug dealers, and beggers everywhere. Decent police presence mostly just standing around. Food options very limited and way overpriced.

Standard train station, staff is helpful. Clean and everyone minded their business. If anything I found more friendly people than anything else.
