My 19 year old daughter and I scheduled at Tri-State Ob/Gyn in Bridgewater to discuss birth control. The PA acted smug, slightly rude. My daughter and I have an open relationship and I was invited by her to be in the room. After some discussion, The PA only looking at her, basically irritated I'm there, said "So, what do YOU want to do?". I had kept quiet but at that time, I pointed out that she is only 19 and doesn't know the effectiveness of different bc. Asking the PA to explain the percentages on pill, the depo shot and the Nexplenon implant to prevent pregnancy, SHE SAID THAT SHE DIDNT KNOW!! Funny, that the informational pamphlet hanging on the wall outside the very door of the exam room was never offered. My daughter and I were both shocked at the mistreatment. Wise up.
