I had a great time there with my 6 year old son. It was his second time on DH skis, and he did a 1 hour lesson with a large group this time which was really helpful (previous time was at another resort where he also did a 1 hour lesson). By the end of the afternoon I was able to convince him to take the chair lift which made things even better yet. The least expensive food option - downstairs at the counter - may be the least expensive ski resort food in the area, but still pretty good for what it is. I was impressed that they still had skiable snow on the ground this Saturday (March 4) given the awful winter (they mentioned it rained on Christmas day). Kudos to the grounds crew on that one!

My 5 yr old son had a fun time doing the kid's obstacle course and my husband really enjoyed the advanced course.

I don't know why I stopped skiing.. 20 plus years since I strapped on skis and it was like riding a bike. Even better it was at Trollhaugen! Great staff.. Great people... and most of all Great Skiing!!!! I'm hooked... I ski and my 12yr old snowboards... I highly recommend this PLACE! GO TROLL!!

our daughter loves to go skiing here, staff are nice and helpful. wish they had an outdoor pool area for the summer months. food could be better though.

The runs were well groomed and maintained. I enjoyed the deep woodsy atmosphere of the ski chalet as well as the menu... specifically the Artesian Melt is delicious! Overall the mountain wasn't too challenging with only a few black diamonds but ultimately it's a great place for amateur to advanced ski/snowboarders.
