I didn't know what to expect when I booked my son's birthday party there. They asked me to pick a theme from a list of themes that they had. The one that we went with was Nature Wizards. The kids ranged from 3-13 so that can be difficult to keep all of them entertained, but Mary the naturalist was great. She brought us on a hike where the kids explored nature. They were able to see some magic in the forest. Like the little flower pods that explode when you touch them. She was wonder with the kids. She kept them entertained & was very good about answering all of their questions about the animals & the center. I couldn't be happier with our experience.

This place is fantastic. I grew up in the area and loved it as a child. With their recent renovations this location has become a more inviting and immersive place to take your family or to just go for a walk. The trails are beautiful and clean, and the bridges over the water give you an opportunity to see water-life up close!

I have been coming here almost weekly for a many years. It's not the fanciest park in the cities, but it has a new, very nice building and the trails are well kept and a great way to spend about an hour of time enjoying some nature without driving hours away.

I love going here certain times of the day and it's never too busy during those times which I love! There's nothing worse than wanting to take a peaceful hike when a ton of people are everywhere! It's very well kept! Only downside is there is a ton of mosquitos and bugs down the trails. A good Pokémon go spot also!
