We rented a pontoon for my dads birthday. The man running the boats, doing the tutorial and gassing the boats up was super nice. The one marina resident we saw was super nice too. We had a great time on tje boat and caught some fish. The scenery was breathtaking. Definitely take sunscreen, drinks and a lunch for a nice half day river cruise.

Very easy to rent a boat front. The entire process from the reservation, to the end of our wonderful day on the lake was easy. We did not use any of the other amenities or accommodations offered here. 🎣🚤

If you like nature and peaceful nights you're in the right place. Fish, go boating or lounge in the pool there's something for every taste.

I agree with the other one star reviews.  The boat dock attendant yells at you when your trying to back in the rental pontoon into a narrow spot. Do this, do that, turn this way no, no more that way. You heard that right, back in because there is a weed bed and a tight area to dock.

In the price of the rental it includes 5 gallons of gas.  The attendant runs over to check the gas tank.  If you use more than 5 gallons cha-ching you pay.  If you use less than 5 gallons to bad because you don't get credit he says.  Felt like nudging him into the water.  The next day they measure for that 5 gallon usage.

Filling out rental paperwork and going through a lecture about the boat usage takes a good 20 minutes out of your rental time.  One clerk got in my face and would not start the paperwork until the rental start time.  No one else was around, no other boats being rented.  I wanted a 4 hour rental but was told to comeback at noon.  If I wanted the boat earlier than I needed to rent for the whole day.  I felt like ripping that sissy ear ring out of his ear.

Rooms were nice and clean, old but nice.  It was a shame to be treated like that when on vacation.
