I’m not even sure how this location is still open. Every time we’ve come here since moving to the area, it’s been a disappointment. The first time we came in, we ordered and stood there. The lady standing next to us informed us that she had been waiting on three smoothies and a quesadilla for an hour and twenty five minutes. We stood there for a few minutes more, watching the employees stand around and talk without even trying to pretend like they were working before we canceled our order and asked for our money back. The lobby is never not full of people who have been waiting an absurd amount of time for simple food or smoothies. It’s never not a dumpster fire when you walk in. The employees are rude, it’s not uncommon to stand at the register for several minutes while employees keep looking over their shoulders without acknowledging us. I assume they’re hoping that we get frustrated and leave without troubling them. It usually works because beyond the long waits and rude employees, this place is always disgusting. Every surface in the store is sticky and it has never gotten better. The employees tonight weren’t wearing gloves and one would lean over the food he was making while running his fingers through his hair. My suggestion is to drive the extra distance to Smoothie King. You will probably end up doing it after you can’t get your food at this place, anyway.
I always love coming here for the food, but the speed/service is not amazing. I usally have issues with this location with friendliness or timing, I don't recommend drive though from opening to about 4pm. Which I assume is due to the stress put on the workers in the morning. I do have good experiences on the later shifts, especially when dining in.
I rarely rate this low - however I feel justified in doing so. Unfriendly and slow service. Incorrect order. Huge wait time. Mediocre food. Borderline unsanitary. Today I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this location. Part of my group arrived before me and placed their order, we arrived 10-15 min after them. When we arrived the person in our party had still not received his smoothie or his food. We attempted to order immediately but were ignored by the 2 employees working. They continued making sure contact and walking right past us standing at the register. Eventually they took our orders. 2 bowls. Our one and only special request was no pineapple in one of the bowls because of an allergy. The man who took our order barely spoke 5 words while taking our order and was very short with us and borderline rude. Apparently he treated the other member of our party this way as well after inquiring about his experience before we arrived. The food took over 20 min to be finished. Overall wait time between our arrival and departure was 40+ min for a to-go order. Upon getting home to eat our food, both bowls were incorrect, missing ingredients advertised and worst of all - had pineapple. Will not be returning. Which is very sad, as I was looking forward to eating this food, the menu seemed appealing and I live just a few minutes away and would have returned. I feel the need to also mention that if you watch them make your food - you may not want it. They touch themselves, the register, their hair, headpiece, counters, money, etc while wearing the "protective gloves" that are their to prevent contamination of your food. The man who made our food dropped a couple of the presealed/pre portioned chicken packages on the ground and threw them right back into the container. I realize the chicken didn't hit the floor but the plastic they touch to open said chicken has been on the ground, they then touch the chicken with the hands they just used to open the contaminated package. ‍‍ Other reviews mention a lot of these same points. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
I went for their flip flop day which was really nice. The inside of the restaurant has a fun feeling and atmosphere. However, the smoothie was a huge disappointment. It tasted like mostly water and had as many calories as a cheeseburger. I would not spend full price for one for sure and I'm not going to waste my calories on something that tastes like water. EDIT. Went from 3 stars to 1 after trying s wrap today. They use gloves and touched the window of the drive through with the gloves on along with the money. GROSS! They also charge for water and it was disgusting. The chicken tasted like it was going bad and was brown/grey in spots. Waited in the drive through for 14 minutes and wasnt ever acknowledged at the second window. Almost drove away. Called and told the assistant manager and her response was "okay".

I love their food but this location is ridiculous on service. I understand that they are limited on staffing but they close the inside. So when we order online, randomly we have to wait through the drive thru line. There is no pick up window and service is extremely slow. In these days of crazy high gas prices, waiting when I know my order is ready is even more frustrating.
I wished I could give this place less than 1 star as they have provided the worst food service I have ever had. Not only did it take a ridiculous amount of time to receive my order; it was wrong and thrown together as if nobody there cares. I tried to speak to a manager about it, a woman with a name something like shitaria claimed to be the district manager was at the counter and I have never had anyone speak to me the way she did. I will never be back to any this companies locations! Management could not possibly be any worse, apparently from the top down. The service could not be any worse. I'm done.
You need to retrain your staff on making smoothies and food. My wrap was nearly burnt and inedible. The smoothie was subpar at best. Idk what’s going on but definitely an evaluation needs to happen. Unacceptable
Super super watered down smoothies. We got peanut butter paradise and peanut butter cup. Both of them seemed like they made half the smoothie and then filled the rest with water. Very dissapointing.
I've been to this tropical smoothie several times and every time they have the SLOWEST drive thru of any Tropical Smoothie I've been to. I typically have gone to the location in Stillwater, OK and order the same thing almost every time from both locations. This Edmond location has higher prices $1-2 more than the Stillwater one AND is slower. This makes it definitely not worth the wait. Management should maybe learn a thing or two from their fellow franchisees.
