Scooter's Coffee
"We've been brewing up delicious coffee, espresso blenders, smoothies and pastries since 1998. Our goal is to make you smile with every sip, that's why when you stop by one of our locations you'll see a smiley face sticker smiling right back at you on every cup. Our coffee begins with responsibly sourcing some of the finest hand-selected beans in the world, and paying farmers and workers a fair wage to help improve their community's infrastructure. Then, it's roasted with care and love in small batches, staying true to the art of crafting quality coffee and ensuring a smooth, rich and delicious finish. You'll taste the Scooter's Coffee® difference in every drink."

I hardly noticed the little drive through located in Edmond Rd and Fretz Ave. I was excited to find out it was a coffee shop and was eager to try it. The first thing you notice when ordering at Scooters is the pricing. I found it to be more in line with how coffee should be priced, than other competitors in the area. I ordered an iced coffee. I believe it had caramel in it. I was a little surprised an earlier review stated their order had little coffee and mostly sweetener. My coffees have been loaded with coffee. I didn’t need to pay for shot after shot of espresso to taste the coffee, like I have to at Starbucks. The price of my large iced coffee at Scooters was less than a small iced coffee at Starbucks. The staff was pleasant to deal with. They were fast and made a great cup of iced coffee. To find a place that has honest pricing, as well as pleasant employee interactions are traits that keep long term customers. Great place!
***Edited*** Updated my review to 5 stars after some obvious positive changes!! I never received a call or any coupons or any type of incentive to re-review, but I have tried this location out again and whatever issue they had with their oven has been resolved. Food tastes fresh, coffee is great, and employees are maybe the best I’ve encountered in Edmond. Always high spirited and cheerful. Something very rare post-Covid. *Original review below* The employees are always so friendly at this location and I’m sad to rate so low, but coffee tastes like mocha or a chocolate mix no matter what drink is chosen. The food tastes like a burnt dirty oven. I live super close so it’s a convenient location but I think some cleaning maybe needs to be done? I thought maybe it was limited to the hot breakfast items, but my muffin had that same distinct flavor.
While the workers are very friendly service has been going down hill. Today I got a pumpkin spice coffee and it tasted gross. Didn’t even taste like pumpkin, I was so disappointed. Ever since I think they got new management I’ve been trying to avoid drinking there because that’s when I’ve noticed how downhill it went.
Update: They seem to have their staffing issues fixed. And the service has improved immensely. Original review: 2 stars I went a few times and it was alright and a good substitute for Starbucks. The first few times, the guest service was lovely. However, the past two times, I've driven up when the store was supposed to be open and I recieved no help and no response over the speaker. The first morning of no help everything was open and the lights were on but no one was visible from the windows. The second time, today, I drove up and the person who was manning the window immediately walked to the back. Then I waited for a bit and got no response at the speaker. After a minute or so I just drove away and the person watched me drive away. I get maybe they're short staffed but I'm on my way to work. At the very least they could have apologized for being closed or had a sign up or something instead of just letting me sit in the drivethrough waiting.
Ordered an iced coffee with half and half and vanilla. The drink I was given is very weak, watered down , and milky with vanilla flavoring. No coffee taste to it all at. Its quite nauseating. I paid $5.15 plus a tip for brown milky water! Disgusting!!
Tina was AMAZING!! It’s been a while since we tried scooters. When we arrived a gentleman asked if he could help us with our order and we were not ready because we did not know what to order. Tina hops on the intercom and I asked about the vanilla honey latte. She gave an awesome example of the taste and flavor and her opinion of trying oakmilk to make it not so sweet!!! I absolutely loved it and loved Tina’s enthusiasm! She even asked how I liked it after taking a drink and it was exactly how she described it!! Thank you so much Tina!
Updated Review This location apparently needs to have their own companies coupons explained to them by the customer. I ordered a large drink because I had a coupon for half off of a large or medium drink, the same coupon offered a small drink for free. But who really wants a small that doesn't last very long, especially when you are sharing with your spouse. Now even though I ordered a large they gave me a small without even asking me if I wanted the small. On top of that, they applied a $2 credit I had available on my app but wasn't even trying to use. So I lost my $2 credit and the half off coupon for a tiny drink that I had not ordered. If you must go to Scooter's make the extra drive and visit a different location. Old Review: Their Peanut Butter Power is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with their customer service and the time it took to get my order out to me. Super fast drive through even when there are multiple cars. They do offer food items but I haven't tried them yet but their drinks are worth visiting for. Plus they recognize Veterans Day and offered a free beverage of any size to veterans and active duty military. Thank you, not all business's recognize veterans but Scooter's does.
Been here a couple of times in an attempt to change it up from Starbucks. While the drinks aren’t bad, they don’t taste like coffee at all and are on the sweeter side. If I’m paying $7+ for a drink with 2 shots of espresso, I want to be able to taste it. The staff is friendly, but it’s also off-putting to be asked if I’d like to purchase something else multiple times during the transaction Both visits I only ordered a coffee, but when I got to the window to pay I was asked if I wanted to add an everything bagel. After declining, I was asked if I wanted to maybe add a pastry instead, etc.. Overall not a bad place, but the quality doesn’t measure up to the price for Scooter’s to be a regular coffee place I frequent.
I came here 15 minutes before closing for a blended drink was told no because they were washing the blender , How hard is it to blend something and rewash the blender… silly.
They do not make the coffee per your request. I just wasted money on terrible tasting coffee that I just threw out. Will not be back at this location. The cashier/order taker this morning was also lacking customer service skills. Just pay the same amount of $ and go to Starbucks, much better tasting coffee and service.
