Usually when I order smoothies from here they have always been pretty good! unfortunately there is only one girl I typically like making mine as she seems she is the only one who always makes them perfect and has great customer service. Well I don't know who made them today because they weren't good. I ordered two through the app and picked them up. They were chunks of ice in them both. Whoever made them did a horrible job. I'm not sure if I will go back for awhile until I know things improve. 

I have been back since and the smoothies were better. However, the two men working the front had bad customer service skills. So Customer service can be a lot better! It has always been Just okay. Your workers could take not even a second and greet customers walking in and at the register, talk to, smile, and be more friendly to customers.

if zero stars were an option this place would be getting zero. It’s disappointing that isn’t an option because they really don’t deserve any. I have spent my morning making a Google account JUST to leave a review for this location in hopes that maybe something will change, however after reading the other 10+ bad reviews I can see that nothing will probably happen. If you plan on going into this location DO NOT DO IT! Let me just start off saying if you like tropical smoothie or have never had it before, please go to either of the other Livonia locations or the Plymouth one, they are phenomenal and I have never had issues there. Now, when I started coming to this location a little over a year ago I never had any problems, now it seems as though the ‘new manager’ has completely ruined the place. The employees couldn’t care less about customer service, and I’m sure it’s because the snotty manager doesn’t either. Whether there are 5 people ‘working’ behind the counter or 1 you will still wait at the very minimum 10+ minutes only to still be given an incorrect order or a terribly watered down smoothie because none of them actually care. On more than one occasion I have gone in and watched one person try to get everything done while others are all hanging out in the back laughing and playing around. If you ask for the ‘manager’ you can actually watch her in the back of the store saying she doesn’t want to talk to the customers, and that’s only when you can actually see her in the store because majority of her time seems to be spent in the back of the parking lot smoking with the other co workers so you’re basically just stuck with the wrong order because they will refuse to fix their mistakes or say you ordered it wrong. You can watch her say she doesn’t want to come talk to you. What kind of manager does that, so unbelievably unprofessional! She does look very young so maybe management should re consider that decision if they would like to keep good business, I actually work in the same plaza and I never fail to pull into my job and see tropical employees standing sitting or lying on the ground outside while they all smoke. How gross! It makes you wonder if they all come inside and wash their hands or if they just brush themselves off and try to ‘get back to work.’ Relaxing on the ground, smoking, and hanging out instead of training on how to make a correct order in timely fashion just doesn’t seem like good business tactics. I will not even get started on the manager’s hygiene and work ‘uniform’ or how unsanitary the entire store is dirtied by food caked all over the floor, and finding a clean table is just too much to ask for. Please go to this location at your own risk. I kept coming in hopes it would be different every time because I really do love getting a smoothies and wrap after my workouts or on my lunch break but I will never again come here!!!

I was referred to it by a trustworthy friend. I had the chipotle chicken club which was amazing.  I took a gamble on the pomegranate Plunge. It was so good I don't even know if I want to try the other flavors. Overall I had a great experience I definitely will be back.

I've been here 5 times and 5 times they get my order wrong!! How is that possible!?

This is the worst location. They really need to go to other tropical smoothie cafes and copy what they are doing because this location SUCK. At 1st I thought I was being picky, until I went to 3 other locations and the food was always amazing. I go to Westland, order the same thing and over and over again it was trash!

Every time I go to tropical smoothie I get the same thing. I specifically ask for my smoothies with no strawberrry but substitute banana. The girl at the Westland location gave me my smoothie and it looked pink. I asked if there was no strawberry and she said yes. But yet it's pink and has strawberry seeds in it? I asked her to make a new one since I can't have stawrberries but she said no. I won't pay for something I can't drink. I asked politely and she got an attitude. I won't be going back since they can't follow basic instructions.
