I honestly can't believe that someone would write the previous review where they bring the owner's religion into it.  The previous story doesn't add up.  The dealer is from Cortland and has built a reputation of helping lower income people buy cars.  

Steve only sells cars that he believes are okay.  In fact he talked me out of buying a truck because of the expense and the fact that I have a young family.  Instead I bought a Corolla from somebody else.  He lost out on a sale to help me first and him second.  Steve may be loud, but he would not purposely try and hurt somebody.  

I bought a car for my daughter from him and the service was great, he even bought me lunch.

I bought a car from Steve five years ago and I'm ready to buy another one so I decided to check out his site.  I hadn't intended to write a review, but after seeing that there are only a few reviews and one of them is absolutely ghastly, I decided I had to weigh in.  

Steve found me exactly the car I wanted and gave me a great price - better than any other dealers or individuals were offering.  The car was ready for me in a very short period of time, still runs great and has only needed routine maintenance for the past 5 years.

I was very disturbed to see Steve attacked personally on his business website because I happen to know that Steve is an enthusiastic, kind hearted guy with a great sense of humor.who spends most of his time serving others in his community - for free!

I just want to say how disappointed I am in how my famiy was treated when we requested a COPY of a LIEN RELEASE issued by Tropical wheels. We were given the run around by Steve. When we finally recieved correct information from DMV, we called and asked Steve if he could give us a COPY of the Lien release that was SATISFIED. AMAZING-not grace,he claimed no record and then stated that my family MUST STILL OWE him money! Steve resorted to yelling or (loudly, raising his VOICE) & was not in church! Long story short..we located the original lien and he is still in denial after presenting it to him,he says that it is not authentic.Too funny. NOT! Christian or Crook-you decide. Better record keeping could have eliminated this ordeal and a LACK OF SELF CONTROL and good professionalism motivated me to write this review. God heard my prayer to find this lien-Is he hearing yours?
