Big fluffy towels, clean,neat. Fresh paint. Roy the owner even offered to drive us around if we wanted to go into town.  I would definitely recommend this place.

See "STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE" review below. I was there with her. Very shady, back woods owner. The place is barely up to par. I would hope officials could do an inspection of the units and property. I would start with no smoke detectors in the entire unit. There were bases, but no actual detectors. My sister's review sums it up. Terrible way to do business. I wonder how many other people he has done this to?

If you're ever in Montana.....STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I stayed at the Troy Cabins April 12-20, 2017 when I came home to visit my family, I called the owner Roy in mid March and made the Reservation, I reserved the 2 bedroom cabin for $80 a night, I was told by Roy (the owner) that he would be charging me only $80 a night and wouldn't charge me extra for my parents to stay with me in the 2 bedroom Cabin. On April 12th I got to the cabin to find out that someone was still in the cabin I had reserved, Roy the owner then put me in a 3bedroom cabin (I hadn't asked to be put in this 3 bedroom unit) he charged me $80 to stay in the 3 bedroom cabin, my parents were with me when I checked in, then two days later he came to me and said he was going to charge me an extra $100 for my parents to stay with me, I brought it up to the owner that we originally negotiated $80 a night and that he wouldn't charge for my parents to stay with me, he then been shot back at me "well the three bedroom cabin goes for $125 a night" at this point I gave them an extra hundred dollars knowing I was getting screwed out of money, but my parents staying with me was worth it in the end, he also charged me a $25 refundable pet deposit for their dog to be there under the contingency that his housekeeper would come in and let the owner Roy know if it smells like dog if it didn't smell like dog I would get the money back. Then the next day he charges me another $50 because my sister was there to visit. While all this is going on the washer and dryer broke, the shower stall up on the second floor flooded the whole bathroom when someone would use the shower, the kitchen sink started leaking everywhere, then the power went out on the whole second floor there was no electricity andthe plug and sockets wouldn't work. We weren't able to use the heaters in any of the bedrooms and when I went to him he just said "sorry,"and he didn't know what to do about it. We went without power on the second floor and first floor bedroom sockets for the last 2 1/2 days of my trip! On top of that our trashcan got full and they didn't take it to the dump until the last day so we had to have garbage bags inside the cabin,  him and his maintenance guy came and got the washer and dryer out of the cabin leaving soap everywhere for only us to clean up the housekeeper came in and just left it all there, the housekeeper then told the owner Roy that the house did not smell like dog and I could have my deposit back I was out there when she said it I went inside he then came and knocked on the door and said I owed him $50 but that he would call it even because of all the mishaps that it happened during my stay I then asked for the $25 deposit back for the dog and he said he wasn't giving it back to me because the house smells like dog and when I had brought up that I was standing there when she said it didn't he said "oh well she just came to me and said it did", mind you his housekeeper didn't speak any English. So I'm still trying to figure out how it didn't smell like dog and in a matter of seconds it did smell like dog. I would tell anybody who is reading this to never step foot on this property there's garbage outside everywhere, everything breaks he gives you hidden charges when there shouldn't be hidden charges, and then when you try to confront him about it he doesn't give a crap he just says sorry in a sarcastic manner. I haven't seen my family in three years I came home to see them in this manner ruined my trip with all of the mishaps that happened while I was here I recommend that nobody stay here! This man Roy the owner is not an honest business man he tells you one thing and then back pedal and then you're stuck because you're already here!!

Made a reservation but had to cancel (it happens). Was charged the full amount + a few extra dollars. Only response from Roy (owner) was "Sorry - I could have rented it out" (via email). He never replied again and has no cancelation policies on website either (I'd understand a small fee for canceling - a common thing). Cabins are in poor condition (I stopped by in person), and on the main highway. I do no recommend.
