After shopping around with many of the "on your lot builders", we kept coming back to TrueBuilt. Working with David White through the Tri-Cities office has been a pleasure and it's refreshing to work with a company that is straight forward about the process. We're just getting the rest of the project started, and hopefully it goes as smooth as the sales has! Thanks David!

Our experience was not as well as we would have liked. Our salesman often forgot to note prices and upgrades we asked him about and didn't have the information when we met with him the next time. We felt he should have had pricing information available without checking with someone else. He maybe could have been a little more organized and all information should be available at his finger tips He was a very personable and pleasant to work with. Our current home was built by Reality Homes. We decided on True Built because they had more standard features that would not be an upgrade and they had a floor plan that worked for us. However, we were a little disappointed that the revised blueprint took so long. Our changes were very minor. It was delayed by 3-4 weeks, which held us on our building permit application. Our whole process from the day we decided till our home is finished will be about 9 months. This is at least 2 months longer than our Reality home. Most of this is due to the delay of the blueprint. We asked out salesman if we could be compensated for this delay and he said he could not offer us any compensations. Another thing that was disappointing, is that we will not be compensated for fixtures that we will be providing ourselves, such as mirrors, ceiling fans, sinks. In our experience with Reality Homes, we were refunded for anything finishes that they did not provide. We thought True Built would do the same. For example, if we are upgrading our kitchen sink to a undermount farm sink. We are being charged the full price of the sink rather than the difference between the standard sink and the upgrade. This also seems to be true for bathroom countertops. We should get some kind of credit for the formica counter top we are not taking. If this did happen, it was not pointed out to us. So our biggest disappointment was the delay of the blueprints and that we were not compensated for our inconvenience. We are not sure that we would used them again or recommend True Built to others.
