Warm hospitality, delicious food, friendly service. The cauliflower ‘steak’ with a bit of mild curry was sublime. Non vegetarians will love the crab cake and perfect fries. Good cocktail and wine selections. Desserts are polished. Family and kid friendly.

Really cool pub vibe.  Good piece of steak for $30, although a touch over cooked.
Lobster tortellini was good.  Staff great! Nice wine list...

My husband and I have stayed at a few inns/B&Bs in the area, and this was by far the best. The room was small (which we expected) but very clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast) was spectacular. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed for a few nights in mid-October 2017 at the Tucker Hill Inn.  This is a very nice bed-and-breakfast: our room (called the Aspen) was large, clean and comfortable; and the owners, Patti and Kevin as well as the other staff were welcoming and offered a lot of useful advice about how to make the best of the area.  Tea (and coffee) is available 24-hours a day and the breakfasts were very tasty and filling: the French-toast and omelettes were delicious.  In terms of location, the inn is away from the road, so it is nice and quiet, but Waitsfield is only a short drive away; Waterbury/Stowe are nearby and Vermont Route 100 (also close to the Inn) is an amazing and scenic drive.  We very much enjoyed our visit and we hope that the Tucker Hill Inn remains open for many years to come.

We'll be back! This was, to date, our best experience with accommodations in the Mad River Valley. The inn is lovely. Our room was small but we chose it for price not size. Very comfortable, though. The whole room was impeccably clean! The restaurant was incredible. I had the best salad I've ever tasted, my wife was even more impressed with her creme brulee. Truly noteworthy in every way. Every person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional. An absolute recommendation!
