Tuesday Morning reviews from over 3 years ago do NOT help at all. Please remove them as it's only confusing for consumers and unfair to the business.
My experience with this Tuesday Morning on Veterans Blvd in Redwood City has been positive. This store is clean and organized for what it is.  It's a good place to get last minute gifts. Over the years I've picked up great bargains for high end merchandise - luggage, 100% cotton baby clothes & pj's,  kid's toys, linens, personal health care and wonderfully scented bath products from Europe (England, France & Italy),  a wine cooler,  work out clothes, wrapping paper, gardening supplies, and small quality appliances (like KitchenAid). Lots of interesting tchotchkies!  Bathroom for customers.
The down side:  Items come and go.  You won't always find everything you need.  Isles are a bit small and merchandise packed tight.

Hit or miss. But when you hit, it's big. There use to be a Tuesday Morning in downtown San Mateo. I now have to drive to this location to get my bargain  browsing fix, which isn't that often.

In general, Tuesday Morning is known for their deeply discounted brand name bedding and linens, housewares, and home decor. They also carry yarn and dog stuff. So when they get a new monthly shipment, there have been times that I have found great bargains. 
Today, I scored! I found kettle-dyed 100% extra fine merino wool worsted-weight yarn in colors that I love that I did not need to purchase, but the deal was too good to pass up. $6.99/skein at over 200 yards each. Super soft, not scratchy or itchy against bare skin.

Friendly staff. Clean, well-organized and tidy. Plenty of parking in their lot. Right across from Kaiser.

Horrible selection. The only decent items they offer are a better arranged selection of sheets. That's about it. Incredibly rude customers reaching-over you for no particular reason. These women don't even wait their turn, just shove you out of the way. What's the rush, I wonder.

Incompetent staff making the long check-out line of people wait out of stupidity -- cash machines without paper, missing employees. 

Screaming children of crazed housewives who drive like fiends at the parking lot. I almost got into 2 accidents at the lot itself. Absolutely horrendous!
