After my first trip to Tulip nails I have never been to another nail shop. Their customer service is top notch. Their color selection is amazing and their skill is excellent. I send all of my friends to Tulip nails. A regular manicure will last over a week when painted at Tulip.

The mgr/owner did my mani and was so rough and rude that i ended up having to file my own nails.  She absolutely sat there talking trash about me with her colleague the entire time and did a terrible job.  She nicked me and said nothing and they are far too pricey for such a dingy small salon.  The pedi was fine, nothing special, the lady was nice but again expensive for the service offered/salon setting

Friendly staff. Not too big. Quiet environment. Not too pricey. They do a great job on my hands and feet. Gel nails are the best.

Worst customer service. Went to get a mani pedi , the massaging chair didn't even work. I asked the lady if she could turn it on or see what was going on, she couldn't figure it out nor did she even try moving me seats. When it came down to my pedicure she didn't even use a warm towel to press against my legs. She didn't even massage my feet and ended up putting lotion on my legs after she had already painted my toes. Never have I experienced such crappy experience. The point in getting your feet done is to relax , I basically paid to sit in a hard chair with black tape around to hide a tear that got my hair caught in. For my manicure ,  she did a good job on the shape of my nails but the gel nail polish they use is questionable because this morning I started getting bubbles on my nails. At this point I'm not sure if I should go back to get them fixed or just go to a different nail shop.  The only good thing about this place is the mimosas they serve & prices are fair for the location being in downtown alameda.
