Camped here in 2010 and were so impressed we bought a place nearby. Stopped in today to see what's new and they are working feverishly, preparing for the 2017 season. GREAT folks. We'll probably come back to camp, just for the fun of it. Plus, getting here is half the fun.

Our favorite peaceful get-away spot to enjoy the beautiful NC mountains. Catch fresh trout from the pay-by-the-pound pond, and the owner will clean them for you; what a great dinner cooked over the fire! Extremely close to Tsali; the best mountain biking around, and the Nantahala for whitewater rafting is very close, and such fun. Short drive to Cherokee, if you want to walk around town or visit the casino. We've stated here in tents, and rented the camping cabins. Family has stayed in the large cabin, and loved it. Bath houses are always clean, and church service outside on Sundays is always a blessing. Nice sized camper spots, some even on the creek. 30 amp service only, so we leave the camper at home and "rough it!" We have stayed in one of the creek-side tent spots many times. Owners are the friendliest, most accommodating folks. Communal open kitchen area has everything you need, and in colder weather there's a fire burning, with plenty of rocking chairs and great fellowship. Not for the party crowd, but perfect for couples, families, and outdoor enthusiasts!
