I have been fortunate to have Dr. Turng as my childrens pediatrician for 31 years. It was a blessing that she walked into my hospital room every morning 31 years ago to privide an update on my first child. As a young first time mother I had a lot to learn. She is very passionate and straight forward about the care and medical treatment she provides. Dr. Turng is a rare gem!!!

I am a former patient. I truly miss and love Dr Turng. I saw her up until I turned 21 and I'm now 31 with my own two kids. To have her as a pediatrician you are very blessed and well taken care of. The one advice I remember receiving from her is "go to school, get your education, and no boys". Well Dr Turng, because of you I am Managing my asthma well, I have two great children and I am a master level therapist (LPC) working my dream job with my own private practice. You took care of me physically and encouraged me to grown into the person I am now. I wish we didn't live so far and I would have been so lucky to bring my girls to see you. I highly recommend this one of a kind doctor!!

After reading all of the 4-5 star reviews I excitedly booked an appointment for my 19 month old daughter. Here is what my experience was: I got there about 10 minutes early to start on the new patient paperwork. The reception area was threadbare but orderly. After about 15 minutes, I finished and noticed that my daughter had a stinky diaper, so I asked the receptionist if there was a place for me to change her diaper. She took me to an exam room and kindly asked me to put the diaper in a little baggy instead of a trash can so that it wouldn't stink up the room. This exam room was cluttered and a little disorderly. It didn't look like it had been cleaned for a little while, but nothing absolutely horrifying. Two minutes later Dr. Turng burst into the room and unkindly ordered me not to throw the diaper in the trash, but to give it to them instead. She then diapered and left me there wondering what I was supposed to do. Five minutes later she called me into another room where she took my daughter's height and weight by abruptly telling me where to put my daughter and not explaining very well (her English was terrible and most of her sentences began with "You do" "Do" or "Don't do"). She then turned to my vaccine information and began to criticize how difficult it was to understand. My daughter has had one Dr thus far who has given her all of her vaccines. He faxed the information to Dr. Turng in the form of a medical document that was typed out. For the rest of the appointment, at random, she would get after me for not keeping my own records (it totaled up to around 6 times). All she gave me for a document that recorded what she gave my daughter for vaccines that day was in her handwriting that is very difficult to understand. I was shown into another exam room and given other papers to fill out without any explanation. This exam room was disgusting. A mix of children's books, magazines, and other papers littered the room, on the floor, where you put your feet on the exam table, on the counter top with the sink, shoved on shelves with no order. There were a couple of open carboard boxes on the floor that contained her medical supplies, tools, and a random Ramon noodle wrapper all mixed together. On her walls was a sign asking me not to be on the phone and instead to watch my child. I was fine with that, but here she was expecting me to fill out paperwork and keep my daughter out of all of these floor level items without any space or toys to distract her with. Dr. Turng came back and complained that it took her awhile to prepare the vaccines, told me the paperwork was for a blood draw for a different place to perform (why does my daughter need a blood draw?), and then inspected my daughter. This took less that a minute because she hardly looked into my daughter's ears and eyes and then had me turn my daughter on her side and started squirting fluoride in her mouth without any explanation. Then she moved onto the vaccines. She had me (I was on a bench with my daughter in my lap) peel the bandages (with my bare non-sanitized hands) while she proceeded to shove the different vials in my face as if asking me to either memorize them or make sure they were the right ones (I have no idea which). She gave my daughter her vaccines (non combined ones so there were six), put on the band aids and left. I came home and cried. My husband had to hold me for ten minutes just for me to be able to talk. There was so much other stuff that she did and said that was awful, but to be honest I don't want to dwell on it. I am shocked that she has the reviews that she has. The only reason that I'm even posting this is so that no one else falls into the trap that I did. She will not be seeing my daughter ever again.

I have been coming to this woman since I was a baby she still continues to see me even after my 18th year and has always cared for me. She is very knowledgeable and insightful and will answer any and all questions you have. I know as I grow older now I will never be able to find another doctor like her and fear the day she will have to turn me away. I know where I will be taking my children when the time comes, to either her or her daughter.

If I could give this doctor no stars I would. She was very rude to my child and me. Never again an I taking any of my child to this doctor.
