Turrnipseed is rustic but really nice.

My family and I pitched tents late the weekend of May 26, 2017. Sheaha camp site was booked so this was suggested as overflow for primitive camping. We showed up late (8ish) and pitched our tents. The site was full of families, The park is primitive. Try to NOT use the facility. The restrooms are gross. But that was the least of our worries. Otherwise, the campsite is well maintained. I plan to stay again.

Great rustic spot for overlanders & outdoor enthusiasts that want an escape from the KOAs & Overrun Campgrounds.

Not the most level camp spots and seems to be on top of gravel bed. Good amount of fire wood to be found laying about. Highway is very close so expect to hear cars.
