we stayed 5 nights over thanksgiving and it was VERY quiet.  Staff is friendly and helpful, campground is well maintained, bathhouse is very clean, nice large laundry room.  The game room was never unlocked so didn't get to try it.  some sites are on dirt and not level at all.  even the paved sites required leveling.  shade trees for most of the park, no trees over the rest.  they have a very small dog area which was not enough space for our dogs to run or play.  only 5 miles from Oak Mountain State Park.  Might be more crowded, noisy during summer time. looks like they do have a nice pool and there is a great playground for kids, but we don't have any.  Not many kids around during Thanksgiving.

This campground is very close to a ACTIVE train track!  There were at least a dozen trains blaring their horns all night. We didn't sleep at all

We stopped at this park for a potential future stay.   The women at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to us.  We were appalled.  I told her we would never be staying there.   I have never posted less than 3 stars to any business. Avoid this campsite at all costs!

This park appears to have been a KOA at some time, based on the design of the buildings. We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night while passing through. We found the staff very friendly and efficient. They provided a warm welcome and our reservation was in order. There are a large number of seasonal/long-term units here, and many of those have a lot of clutter which to me makes the park good for a stopover, but has no appeal for longer stays. The restrooms were clean and the WiFi was usable.
