Tuscany Place is a BYU-I approved, off-campus, student housing complex that offers all private rooms. It is located only a block away from the University.

Story

As one of BYU-I’s only approved, off-campus housing complex that offers ALL PRIVATE ROOMS Tuscany Place serves as your home away from home. At 440 South 2nd West, Tuscany Place is only 1 block away from campus and a few blocks away from many local restaurants and shops. At Tuscany Place our main focus is on our residents, and that we can provide a fun and safe environment that allows the spirit to be present.

All of our rooms are fully loaded and furnished! Each apartment comes with an oversized kitchen, heated floors, for those freezing winter mornings, and tons of extra storage space. We have 42” flat screens equipped with Dish Network and high speed internet in every apartment. Tuscany offers a range of extra amenities, such as free tanning and a computer lab with free printing.

My experience living at Tuscany has been great so far! The management was so helpful when checking in and my room was clean when I moved. I have moved into other complexes And felt this one was one of the nicer ones. After reading the reviews and asking the management about their white glove policy before living here, I am glad they are strict, nobody wants to move into a dirty apartment!! The private rooms are a huge bonus and are so close to campus! It’s nice to have my own space to relax and study!! Also, the amenities are awesome! There’s a fitness center, free printing in their study room, tanning beds, music room and a hot tub! Price is very reasonable for what you’re getting! Love it so far !

Honestly, I loved living at Tuscany. The management was fair and really cared about their tenants. They also planned a bunch of fun events and gave us free food all the time. The apartments have private rooms which was awesome for when I wanted to get a lot of homework done at any time of the day or just wanted to be alone. The ward was awesome as well! I loved the bishopric, they were great about planning fun ward activities. Overall I had a good time living at Tuscany. I had lived at 4 other apartment complexes prior and none of them were as fun or homey as Tuscany. Also, don’t listen to the people that say that clean checks are strict. The management seemed to be very fair and understanding about it. Most places I lived made us clean once every two weeks and Tuscany only does once a month. Their white glove at the end of the semester is a little strict but that’s only because they want the new tenants coming in to have a clean apartment- which is something I really appreciated!

When I chose to live at Tuscany I felt like I was going in a little blind but It turned out to be the best decision all semester. The management is amazing and very responsive to any questions you may have. The apartments have always been super clean and taken care of. I've lived in Tuscany for a total of two semesters and there will definitely be more to come. Tuscany management is so kind and helpful!! Make the switch!!

I would not recommend this complex. When I first arrived i thought it was great I had wonderful room mates, and a great ward! However, my biggest issue was the maintenance and the management. My first semester wasn't too bad, however, When i moved into my new apartment the "Professional" cleaners they hired where not very professional. I stayed the break in the new apartment and had an opportunity to watch these "Professional" cleaners they hire. The Cleaners where like 5-6 college students that played music on their phones and walked around for the majority of the time. Maybe spent 15 mins cleaning. Another issue I had with the maintenance when moving into the new apartment there was a nice new refrigerator, but apparently they didn't measure to see if the refrigerator would actually fit the space.... we brought it up multiple times with the management and the maintenance and we were told it would be fixed, and it never did at least while i was there. Last of all my parents where visiting and they had to talk to the management, and when my parents went into the office to talk to the management they where talking and saying bad things about the tenants that they currently had. I find it VERY unprofessional to gossip about your current tenants.

This was my first time living in a private room (Spring semester of last year) and I was pleasantly surprised! Places like this definitely attract an introverted kind of people and I LOVED it. The washers and dryers are in good shape and the lounge is very nice. I am sad that they raised the prices a little, but I would recommend this to anyone needing their own space and privacy!
