Lord, hold us gently, for it feels as though an angel has died here and was buried beneath the floor. Walking into this bathroom, I felt a sense of unease that could only be described as excitement and melencholy and sadness all ridding together in the same Volkswagen. An ashtray, but one with memories you hold to.  The first step you take is on a large wooden trapdoor, and you immediately have to ask yourself what is beneath it. It brings to mind the crypts of French churches. Holy, yet cursed. The walls here were speaking in tongues, inviting me to parties and coaxing friendships with strangers. Those who come to this bathroom must feel as though they are connected with everyone who has visited and will someday visit. Pressing my ear to the wooden trapdoor, I could feel it too. #bathroomCritic #RJReviewsBathrooms

One of the strongest love hate relationships I have is to this establishment! Between 10 pm and 11 pm, this place completely changes. Prior to that time it’s a sleepy dive bar for older folks, after that time it’s a bustling dive bar for broke but fashionable Tumblr models and their skater boyfriends. Cheap beer and liquor. Grimey, in the good way and the bad way.

Anyone who hates this bar is insecure.
Anyone complaining about the crowd can go to another bar.
Anyone complaining about it being cash only can spend a dollar for an atm
Anyone complaining about the bartenders can work at a busy bar on a weekend and see what that life’s like(great bartenders btw and very nice)

This is a great cash-only bar with pool. There are indoor and outdoor places. It is dark and cosy and offers a fireplace in the back. Seriously, a great place full of friendly people.
