The only reason it’s getting 4 instead of 5 is this, we have been a regular here for a long time. The food was incredible. We use go there 7-8 times a year. Then for some reason weren’t able to go for couple of years. Last year we went and the food tasted and looked very different. The service was great as usual. It the food lost its charm. The quantity also dropped. I’m not giving up on this place though. Will be going again. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Homey, flavorful, authentic-seeming middle eastern food. I almost never choose to go here because I can't stand belly dancers, and they seem to always be present. I know it's a cultural experience, but for my money I do not feel that scantily clad women balancing weapons on their heads above me - while shimmying and gyrating to loud music - improves my dining experience in any rational way. I enjoy belly dancing when viewing it on the stage and see it as an impressive form of folk dancing, boasting a long and proud tradition. But when I'm trying to eat or talk with my friends, it's annoying to have to stop, pay attention to the dancers for an interminable amount of time, look at them dancing, interrupt conversations with my friends, pause eating while my food becomes cold, pretend to admire the terpsichorean styling of someone I don't know and did not request or expect, wonder whether I need to tip them, and how, etc. I find it disruptive, and at Cedars of Lebanon, unavoidable. That's why I don't usually go here despite delicious food and a shadowy, mysterious, dark, fun dining atmosphere. If you like it when performers from a play come off the stage to interact with the audience, you'll probably like Cedars of Lebanon. Lamb dishes are particularly toothsome but I'd vite for takeout.

classic tagine dishes are lamb stewed with dried fruits, chicken cooked with preserved lemons and green olives, or a fragrant fish made with fresh tomatoes, lemons and herbs. Not sure what they served. Toothpick tall Waiter questioned our knowledge of their food instead of accept constructive suggestions...does he think somehow superior than the female customers he serves. Not friendly service. The little bit food for $20 they serve is not any where close to being authentic. Not enough flavor in the tajine and no sauce, is it cooked for the ignorance of Americans?

My wife and I went here for dinner last night, and it was pretty good. The curry was not quite what I was expecting, but it was flavorful nonetheless. I would definitely eat here again.

Decent food but hookah was in use next to our table with no ventilation what so ever. By the time our table of 10 was finished with the delicious food our eyes were smarting from the smoke from the table across from us. I would never take my kids there so definitely not family friendly.
