Twin Cities Moving Systems is the epitome of a company that should not be in business. Avoid them at ALL possible costs. If they are your delivery service through a 3rd party retailer, demand a different company, or pay more for a quality provider. The owner of this company gave me a delivery window of 12:00-4:00 PM. Yesterday, they changed it to 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Instead of taking a half day off of work, I was forced to take off the entire day. At 30 minutes PAST the delivery window, the driver was an hour from even being on his way. The dispatch representative literally said, "What do you want me to do about it?" She got the manager, who did not offer one apology. He was immediately defensive, telling me their driver being extremely late should be understandable and that I was being irrational. I did not use profanity, I did not name call, but you can be sure I raised my voice, especially when their idea of customer care is talking over you. After being hung up on 4 times, I was told they cancelled my delivery because I "yelled" at them. Now the retailer who contracted this delivery company has to eat the cost of my very expensive new mattress because this company cancelled the delivery. Twin Cities Moving Systems fails on ALL aspects of their service offering - scheduling, delivery, communication and most importantly, CUSTOMER CARE. It should be illegal for them to take money for a service offering that is not delivered.

I was a little bit worried when I saw that West Elm chose Twin Cities Moving Systems and I read all the complaints and reviews. But I personally had a pleasant experience and thankful that I did! I have a very busy schedule. I missed their first call and they left me a voicemail to schedule my delivery. I called back and had no issues getting in contact with the woman on the phone. We arranged for my sofa to be delivered on a Saturday. The woman couldn't give me a specific time but that I would be informed the day before to arrange my delivery. The day before my delivery, I received a text message to confirm my delivery time. I didn't have a choice to choose my delivery time but I was given the 11am to 3pm slot and that was ok with me. On the day of delivery, Esteban gave me a call letting me know that he will be here in 30 minutes. He arrived around 1:15pm. Esteban and his coworker were so nice and polite!! Esteban was personable and we got to know each other a bit. I noticed that they took off their shoes before coming into my apartment (they didn't have to do that but it was a nice gesture). The sofa was without scratches/stains and appeared new - there was a small tear in the black covering underneath the sofa but it didn't bother me. No one looks under the sofa much anyways. I've had other sofas in the past and this happens sometimes with moving. The movers assembled our sofa and removed the plastic covering and took it with them. Overall it was a very smooth experience!

They were polite in scheduling and the independent contractor, Esteban, who delivered and set up our bed was fantastic. He was polite, removed his shoes, was thorough in making sure things were done well and that any questions were answered. I recently had another delivery that was quite the opposite. Esteban's level of customer service was much appreciated.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Trying to open up a business and our package has been held for two and a half months. We have had to put our grand opening on hold because of this garbage place. Very disappointed. We paid a hefty amount of money to get some so-called white glove delivery and we haven't even gotten our tracking number yet, let alone an answer to a phone call- TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER. GARBAGE COMPANY NEVER WORK WITH THEM. EVER.

I give them one star because I can't give them less! You can NEVER reach someone! My husband placed an order with Pottery Barn and used his number, but I'm home during the day so I was in charge of getting the delivery scheduled. I kept calling and constantly waited and waited and waited for someone to pick up then it kicks you into voicemail. I gave hubby's name and said call this new new number. They never once called ME back. They kept calling him, and he can never answer his phone while he's at work. This has been a 2.5 weeks process. FINALLY got a hold of someone, and he didn't acknowledge my frustration at all, I felt completely dismissed. Terrible customer service! (And I am actually a customer service professional, so I know the "proper" responses to complaints and situations). I'm hoping the actual delivery goes better, but I have my doubts. I'd rather cancel my furniture order than deal with this company any longer!
