Honest, knowledgeable, and timely repair service. The hourly rate may seem a little spendy but to have the work done right, the first time, when promised, and there is no padding or monkeying around - I recommend Twin City 100% and will absolutely do business there in the future !

The woman working the front desk is very pleasant and knowledgable and goes out of her way to answer my questions and examine my power equipment and make suggestions as to what to replace.

First of all - Don't be afraid of going down University Ave and the light rail... There's plenty of parking and you don't really notice what's happening outside of the shop. I went in for some information about my saw. This is not like shopping at a big box store at all. You walk in, someone greets you, you state your business and desires and someone will happily help you out. I found that they were extremely knowledgeable and patient. The prices were very reasonable as well. AND they REPAIR these types of equipment.

I really want to patronize this company (great location for me) and I have recently bought a $500 piece of equipment from them. However the sales experience is a little unsettling. The main issue I have is everybody there, especially the woman working there, seems way too busy to effectively help you. She seems like she has 10 things on her mind every time you talk to her. Frequently she has no idea what you are talking about and needs to ask other people for answers. Many of these answers can be found online but sometimes I need more detail and she doesn't seem to know many of the basics. The last time I bought something she literally put her coat on in the middle of the transaction and left! Some other guy finished it. There was no "thank you for your business" or "you bought a real nice machine" or anything. The guy who finished the transaction gave me the briefest of explanations on how to run the machine and pretty much shoved me out the door. I wanted to buy another major piece of equipment there at the same time but nobody seemed to give a damn, so I left. They weren't snotty or angry, they just handled me way too fast. It was annoying.
