my review is based off the customer service, not the carpet. The carpet itself looks great, the installers were great except for the fact that the second set of installers knocked over a table in my living room and broke my lamp and a small glass vase/ container and no follow up from store regarding that. The reason i give two stars is for the customer service, my daughters room was mismeasured so was not able to be completed the first day and my upper level of my house was left for 2 days with just padding and tacks exposed ,my bathrooms were filled with stuff because i was using them for storage while carpet was done. so had to relocate myself , my daughter, and my two dogs for 2 days till those rooms could be completed . The owner Lynn who measured called this an unforseen circumstance and didnt really seem to care about the inconvenience.There was no communication from the store as to what the next step would be until we went into the store to talk to someone . No returned phone calls or texts. Only communication was from the installers , which i think i should heard from someone at store level. This is not an unforseen circumstance when the owner mismeasures , it is a mistake. luckily we had them remeasure the master bedroom because that was mismeasured and would have been short as well and then again there would have been another delay and more inconvenience .The job already went from 2 days to 3days at this point with a week in between the 2nd and 3rd. There was no communication after the job was complete nor regarding the broken property. We were told by twin oaks the reason we should go with them instead of home depot was because she would be with us every step of the way , well i guess she fell off the first step. I did pay in full for this in advance by my choice and i will never do that again. I think maybe if it wasnt payed in full in advance she might have cared a little more about the issues we were having. The only steps that she took with us were to order the carpet and collect payment. I would not recommend anyone to them. Again the carpet looks great and the installers were fine. But the customer service and follow up from the store itself, was very very poor.

They were great while we tried to find the right floor for us.  We found one we liked and that's when the experience went bad.  We started at one price, then they said it included underlayment, then they raised the price.  I asked about the original price, and they said that price doesn't include underlayment.  They should just have ONE price, and post it where everyone can see it, instead of doing all the price changing and includes and excludes just to entertain themselves.  Now I have to start all over.

Twin Oaks Carpet Center in Romeoville has been absolutely amazing. I would recommend them to anybody. This is a very honest company and I would use them again. I was quoted 4200$ by Luna and was outraged. I was referred by a friend to check out Twin Oaks and when I went there I was quotes 1/3rd the price for the same carpet including labor and disposal. I live out of state and was having new carpet put in a rental house. They came in and called me stating that the pads did not need replacement and credited me back for the price of the padding. Now this is what I call an honest company. There needs to be more companies like this.
