Join us for a creative adventure at Alameda’s newest art studio and play gallery!

Story

Our mission at Twirl is to nurture the inquisitive inventors in us all through the act of making and play.

- Drop-in for open studio or sign up for one of our classes or art camps.

- Friday nights we have you covered. Sign the kiddos up for Kids Night Out.

- Host a party in our space. We'll do the planning, guided making, and cleaning up. Just bring your guest and enjoy.

- We also bring the party to you. Reserve the "Twirl Art Cart" and we'll bring all the creativity to your location.

Absolutely love this place! I've taken my son and daughter here numerous times and they love that their is so much to do. They also change up their arts and crafts options in the studio, so its never the same thing. I've noticed that the decorations change with the seasons or holidays too, so its always festive. The Staff are very friendly and the owner is amazing! She actually comes out in the play space and interacts with the kids too! This place is a must visit if you have little ones. Oh and its located downtown so there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Twirl is amazing for kids to create, explore and expand their imagination! They have a reasonable drop in all day admission ($12 per child) for the open play and art studio. They offer great events such as the Dilly Dallies, Kids Night Out (drop the kiddos off so we can enjoy a date night), adult fall workshops, kids camps and workshops. They are also opening up their pottery studio soon which will be great for the older kids and adults. Check their website for these amazing workshops and events!!

This is one of the best play spaces in the bay area by far. My little boy just loved all the spaces to play in. They have a wonderful variety of engaging spaces for kids to interact in. I'm not that crafty so I liked that the art studio was set with projects to make as well as a wall full of supplies to use. Really loved it! We will be booking a party soon to share the experience will all of our friends.

Took my daughters here a lot, they loved it. Very clean, lots of activities, and friendly atmosphere.

I would not recommend this expensive place. They changed their hours for the summer, didn't tell us, charged us full price for 2 kids then closed 45 min later. When I tried to tell them that I didn't realize their hours had changed, they didn't offer any resolution. They seem very after money instead of providing good customer service.
