I had a small local move in July 2017. The office staff (Rick and David) were great, they gave full disclosure of how everything would work and what the pricing would be. I received a written estimate via email before the move. The day of the move the movers called and told me they would be arriving about 30 minutes early (I was the first move of the day). The two movers were friendly and polite and were both solidly built so I knew they were up to the task. They got started right away and completed the whole process of packing, loading, driving, unloading, and unpacking ahead of schedule. I would recommend Two Men And A Truck.

I worked for these guys out of Toledo, OH and that franchise was garbage so I was a bit hesitant to use them, but had a great experience. Took great care of my furniture and had great hustle!

We had to do an interstate move from woodbridge VA to Pasadena MD. We expected it take literally the whole time we were given. We also expected it to cost the amount quoted...but instead it was Excellent. Absolutely worth everything you pay. Caroline, you rock. We have run into every issue with our home loan. We have gone through 5 different closing dates, and you were there for me to change the dates every time. She even got me a quote for after we got our stuff into storage, and we aren't even in their area anymore! Secondly, the movers were ASTONISHING. I am a military brat so I've moved more times than most. These movers were on time, courteous, respectful, hard working, great to be around, not lurky with our stuff in anyway. Our move to a storage unit was less than easy, also an hour and a half away (IN DMV WHICH EQUALS LIKE 4 hours). They got everything done in under than 5 hours INCLUDING travel time and cut our price in half. Literally, in half. Not a single thing missing or broken. I was going to go with another non franchised company because the price was so much lower, but they are definitely worth the money.

My scheduled movers were both out of town this past Friday. I was referred by a College Alum to this company. The pricing was fair calling on Wednesday for a Friday move. Four young men came and moved us out. They were professional and took extremely good care of our merchandise. Reassembled at our new location and good tips for furniture placement. I would DEFINITELY recommend them. A very satisfied customer.

Short version: Utterly awful, incompetent, unprofessional. Use literally anyone else. Use guys from the street corner. Use a troop of semi-trained bears. Use a bulldozer. Long version: We hired Two Men for an interstate move. First, despite having come out for a personal inspection of everything that needed to be moved, they completely ran out of blankets/padding about halfway through. How that happens I have no idea, but no big deal, just send someone out with more. Instead of telling us or trying in any way to solve the problem, they surreptitiously just started loading furniture into the truck completely unprotected, trying to sneak and do it so we wouldn't notice. When we confronted them about it, they tried to play it off, then said there was nothing they could do, and then finally offered to unload and pad everything at their warehouse before the move (obviously a terrible solution). The results were exactly what you would expect - lots of damage to our furniture (huge gouges in wood, broken glass, etc.) in addition to which they somehow lost several items in the process of loading and unloading. Anthony Gibbs (the owner of this particular franchise, I think) initially admitted responsibility, apologized, and promised to make everything right (replace lost and damaged items, get a furniture company to fix damage. Instead he ended up giving us a several-weeks-long runaround before finally screwing us in the end. None of the promised fixes ever materialized. They wrote us an insultingly small check that didn't come close to covering damaged, destroyed, and lost items, and essentially told us to f**k off. The unloading experience, if possible, was even worse than the protracted process of dealing with the company after. They sent two men (yes, literally) to unload for a three-bedroom house (by contrast, there were six or so to load, which made things reasonable). They didn't show up until noon, and so didn't finish until sometime around 11:00 p.m. They took no responsibility for anything, rather forcing us to point out every problem before admitting anything. "Wow, how did this bed get completely scratched?" "Oh, uh, yeah, we was gonna tell you about that..." "When are you going to unload the glass top to this table? We could use the space to put things on." "Oh, uh, yeah, that broke. We was gonna tell you..." "Where's the lamp that goes with this lampshade?" "Oh, uh, yeah, looks like it ain't on the truck. We was gonna tell you..." Every step of the way was like dealing with awful children who had broken something, swept it under the rug, and were just really really hoping that their parents wouldn't find out. At the end of the night, when they tried to get us to sign some forms relating to all the damaged items and we said we needed to look everything over first, they quite literally yelled at us in our kitchen. We had to ask them to leave. There's plenty more, but suffice it to say that it was easily the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a moving company, and I've moved quite a bit. If someone told me these guys offered to move them for FREE, I would tell them it's not even close to worth it. Seriously, stay away at all costs.
