Mason helped my wife and with a really tricky situation. We have all sorts of variables with our move out of state and were trying to minimize costs as much as possible. He was extremely helpful as we brainstormed options and priced out different scenarios. We took up quite a bit of his time but he wasn't pushy, was extremely patient and in the end saved us a ton of money. I'm extremely grateful for his help and will absolutely be using this location from now on.

I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my reservation time, and I was driving away with the rental in about 12 minutes. Mason was friendly and processed both the rental and return very quickly (drop off took around 9 minutes). I heard parking in the lot was very limited so I parked across the street, but there seemed to be plenty of room in the lot for short term customer parking.

I can see why this place has bad reviews but I had a pretty positive experience although I witnessed the employees being rude to other customers they were nice to me. You can rent trucks and trailers cheaper just south of here from Handy Andy so I cannot give five stars because the prices are high and they're usually really rude and mean to customers. However I will say that I chose to rent from here today because their trailers and the trucks are clean and all the other prices are high they're not unreasonable, and it's in Shoreline right on Aurora which is a great location.

Phillip is the man. Whatever you need, they'll be able to do it for you or make sure it gets done! Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

Short story --- UHaul sucks, rent from Handy Andy instead! ----------- ------------------- Long story ------------- My wife and I rented a 20' truck for a move. In the days leading up to the move date, I received three separate emails confirming my reservation for the truck at 9 AM Saturday morning. At 9 AM, my wife dropped me off at this UHaul and left (since I was going to drive the truck back to our apartment for the move). I was told at the counter that the person who had "the truck" that I had reserved had not returned it, and there were no other trucks available at that location. There were no apologies and no empathy. I was told that they had transferred me to the next closest location, which was downtown Seattle, according to the employee. I left the store and ran 2 miles back to our apartment (my wife had already left and didn't have her phone on her), taking with me a business card that the employee wrote the address and phone number on. However, when I mapped to the address on my phone, it showed the location as Lynwood, not downtown Seattle, like the rep told me. I called the number on the card to verify they had a truck for me before I went to Lynwood. I also asked if they were indeed located in Lynwood, and I was told that they were on the phone. My wife and I drove to the address to find ourselves in the middle of an empty street, no UHaul in sight. I called the number back, and it turns out that the location was actually Arlington, which is over an hour away. They had written the address wrong, and had told me on the phone they were located in Lynwood even though they were in Arlington. So I called UHaul's corporate number. I explained the situation and said that Arlington would not work, that's too far away, and asked what other accommodations they could make since they had broken our agreed upon reservation and their guarantee. Not only did she say that there was nothing she could do and that I would have to go to Arlington, but when I said that wouldn't work and my reservation would have to be cancelled, she said I would still be charged the reservation fee! I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was out of the office. Long story short: UHaul did not have the truck I had reserved. They transferred me to a location over an hour away and wrote the address incorrectly. They told me on the phone the incorrect location. They refused to help the situation and make it right. They still tried to charge me for the reservation that they didn't meet. And I did not receive a single apology throughout the entire ordeal. Luckily, day of Handy Andy was able to hook us up with a truck for way cheaper than UHaul would have been anyways, and it worked out great. I am never renting from UHaul again, and I advise anyone reading this review to do the same.
