the people here are fine, but US Bank is horrible. They nickel and dime you with fees, unless you have the right combination of accounts. They LIE. They lie a lot.
I've been told by one or more people over the phone to handle things one way, only to be informed that that would be impossible to do. Then came a fun game of finger pointing on their end. No one would take responsibility.
They also don't hire enough employees to help the customers they have. If you ask me, find another bank. Wells Fargo (who I despise) wasn't even this bad to me. They just like to charge you fees for everything.
OH, and if someone on the phone tells you one thing, call the branch before heading in, because it's most likely a lie.

People need to be more pro-active (i.e., knowing pros and cons of bank accounts and fees) and less reliant on expecting everything to be done for them, simply because they're dealing with a "service" industry.

Had my debit card stolen after using their ATM! I'm not from this area and I'd gotten cash from the ATM at the front of the bank. A couple of days later my card number was used to try and buy items in the Macy's there. Thankfully they were NOT able to complete their purchases.
